Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
Hello,
You said that you passed in 2021 but you have 1 backlog. You passed 12th board or college graduation.
If you passed 12 board with 1 backlog then you are not eligible. You need college degree like Btech,BDS,Pharma etc.
If you passed college degree with 1 backlog, i did not find any clue. It confusing how you passed college degree with 1 backlog.
In eligibility criteria of gate, it is clearly mention that you have to pass your bachelor degree with no backlog. And if you are in 3rd year and above in college, you have to clear all your backlog at the end of your college.
Hope you understand.
Good Luck!!
Hello aspirant,
GATE i,e Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination conducted in India that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program and Job in Public Sector Companies.
Usually cutoff is calculated after exam has been conducted depending on the highest marks obtained and average performance of the students. Cutoff trend for GATE 2022 in various papers are:

Dear KAPA LOKNADH REDDY,
In general to be eligible for a mtech degree in various institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs and many other, students should have a btech degree in their graduation. Or there are various institutes which provide mtech degree in some of the streams like CS, EC, electrical and electronics to those who have completed their Msc/MCA in respective subjects. So in your case since neither you have btech degree nor does you have completed your Msc so you won't be eligible for admission into mtech programmes. However every institutes have their own terms and conditions for admissions into various courses. As per my knowledge there are only a few institutes which offer mtech degree to Msc/MCA graduates.
All the best :)
Hello aspirant !!
Don't be sad if you not got that much marks in jee mains . As there are lot of opportunities for you yet to come. See , if you are not confident to take drop for the jee mains then i prefer you should go for the admission in any college and then prepare for the GATE examination. As GATE is also a national level of exam so you have to be consistent and determined from starting. It is a good choice to take admission rather than droping for a year if you have not that much confidence to acquire a good marks so that you will have a iit or nit. If you qualify the GATE exam then there are so many PSUs are there for you and if you want to do mtech then on the basis of your gate score you can get the good nit or iit.
To know more about the GATE exam , kindly go through the given link :

I hope this will be helpful for you.
Good wishes
