I have completed my M.tech in 2019 after doing B,tech. Both degrees were done seperatley not under any integrated program. So, what should I fill in my qualification degree in GATE Application form?

Hi,

As per your query, since you have completed your bachelors degree first and then completed your master's degree program in engineering that is M.Tech and not via any integrated program, so while filling the form you have to write your highest qualification as M.Tech in GATE application form.

Hello

According to the marking scheme of GATE 2020, for the MCQs carrying 1 mark each– 1/3 mark will be cut for every wrong answer.

For the MCQs carrying 2 marks – 2/3 mark will be cut for every incorrect response.

There is no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type

In case of GATE examination, the negative marking is decided according to marks in each question. Suppose there is an MCQ question which carries 1 mark, then on giving the wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. Similarly for MCQ which carries 2 marks, 2/3 marks will be deducted

I completed my BE this year and am applying for gate 2020 but my institute still hasnt provided me the provisional certificate and consolidated mark sheet even after I made multiple requests. Can I upload my 8th semester mark sheet which says the CGPA as the eligibility certificate?
