The GATE application fee for unreserved applicants is INR 1800 in 2024. Females, SC/ST candidates, and the GATE fee INR 900.
In India, entrance to M. Tech programmes does not require GATE. If you have not attempted GATE, you can still study overseas or apply for M. Tech

As per the GATE exam eligibility, any undergraduate student in the third year or higher year of any government-approved degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Arts, Commerce or Science can give GATE.
