If we look at the opening and closing scores of previous year Gate admissions, you might get a seat in one of the old IITs for chemical engineering as they have scores in 500+ and you have that.

If you consider last year cutoffs then you can get Signal Processing but chances are pretty bleak in IIT G. Sometimes a rank with 1200 gets a seat in IIT Guwahati. It happened in 2018 i think. So you can keep your hopes high.

The chances of getting an IIT or NIT with this score is very less because you need around 32 to 35 marks minimum or score around 450 and marks are directly proportional to getting an NIT or IIT which means the more marks you get the more chances

Final year student or graduate of bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering/ architechture or Master's degree (or equivalent) in science/ computer applications can apply for GATE.

Considering that you qualify GATE you will be eligible to apply for PhD at the IITs and IISc. Also, there are many research projects with stipend where you can apply.
There are certain government jobs too that hire on the basis of GATE qualification.
