Admissions to IITs is done on gate score and not marks you have scored. So, the result is highly unpredictable where thebhighesg and lowest marks are the deciding factor of the test.

no it is not always that all subjects there is interview sessions, some of the subjects admission is done only through gate score, once the application is submitted candidates selected by there gate score on respective subjects, now if the iits exam authority can makes it challenging for some

see your score is really good, however psus cutoff varies year to year and depends on number of vacant seats and questions level difficulty in gate exam, so if the vacancies are less there will be high cutoff demand.

see this year gate cutoff for electrical engineering is going to increase, so we expect that the cutoff will be higher for ee, however the cutoff for psu's also depends on number of vacancy will come, but you have decent chances for nits and lower rank iits like iit

see at this score you can expect nits of lower rank, jadavpur university, osmania university, iiest shivpur, kalyani university etc. this year gate cutoff is expected to slightly rages from previous years as per students review and questions difficulty level. however cutoff scores changes year to year and varies

In BITS admission to all M.E. (except Software systems) and M.Pharm. programmes will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the BITS HD admission test or based on GATE/GPAT score. Admission to M.E. in Software Systems will be through the BITS HD test only.
