Taking 2019 cut off trends into consideration you may get seat in VLSI in

IIT, Guwahati
NIT, Trichy
NIT, Surthakal

But cut off is subjected to change depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available, difficulty of examination and other factors.

Does the gate score calculates on the basis of reservation ?

The score of GATE is calculated using a common procedure for all. But,the cutoff varies for every category. For unreserved category,the cutoff is more than the reserved category.

Hello,

According to GATE 2019 ,18783 students had applied under chemical engineering stream.But only 15537 students appeared for the same.In the year 2018 around 19026 applied and only 15858 students appeared.According to this we can expect about 15500 students every year under chemical engineering stream.

I was not able to attach my ews certificate during form application for gate exam, is their any chance to apply my ews certificate for mtech in iits and nit

Hello,

Since you need to apply separately for NITs and IITs of your choice you can avail EWS reservations while filling the application form for counselling.You need to have valid EWS certificate to claim reservations.Through CCMT you can apply for NITs and COAPT you can apply for IITs.
