It depends on the no. of candidates applying through GATE score. Because a merit list is prepared. You can submit your score card and a separate merit list will be prepared for MTech in Karnataka, you don't even have to and more importantly can't take the exam of PGCET

AP PGECET counselling is expected to be conducted between 2-4 August'20. The students who have qualified GATE with a valid score are not required to write the AP PGECET examination but will have to apply for the counseling as a GATE qualified aspirant. There will be separate notification
