If we go through the analysis of previous year's GATE score Vs College allotment than according to the GATE 2021 score mentioned by you in the query you have very less chances of getting any of the IITs for VLSI because their cut-offs are somewhere around 700-750+ marks

JEE is joint entrance examination for 12th boards students, the number of candidates is way higher in this examination, therefore it makes it very difficult, but in GATE you have to learn engineering subjects which are complex and the syllabus is way mor vast, you directly get job
