GATE exam is to be taken seriously. There are many aspirants so you need to work hard to make your mark. If keep things simple and stay consistent it's not very tough.
Firstly go through the syllabus twice or thrice and set the syllabus in your mind first.

Hello,

GATE-qualified candidates need not appear for the PGCET exam. You can certainly apply for PGCET through your gate score. A separate rank list is prepared for the gate-qualified candidates and they are prioritized for the PG courses.
