JEE means score is valid all over India and is extended to all the colleges in the India which offer B.Tech programs. So if your Son achieves good marks in the JEE Mains and also good rank then he can get admission in the top institutes of the India which offer Btech programs such as National Institute of Technology,  DelhiTechnical University, VIT Vellore,   SRM Chennai,  UPES, Delhi University, etc. Also, his main score will be valid in all the colleges of Chattisgarh. But if he wished to write a separate entrance exam for a specific university, then he can do so, as a backup plan.

CG PET 2022 application form will be released on the official website - vyapam.cgstate.gov.in.

CG PET 2022 will be conducted as a pen-paper based examination. CG PET 2022 result will be announced on the official website.

CG PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria :

Qualifying examination : Must pass class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects.

Qualifying Marks : General category candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying exam. While the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/female and PWD) should have a minimum aggregate of 40% marks

Age Criteria : Applicant should not be less than 17 years as on December 31, 2022. While the upper age limit is 30 years.

Domicile : It is a must to provide a domicile certificate

Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) conducts the CG PET exam for admission to various UG engineering programs offered by its participating institutes in the state. Admissions will be done on the basis of scores secured by the candidates in the CG PET 2022 entrance exam. CG PET 2022 application form will be released on the official website - vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. As of now, the officials have not yet released the schedule for CGPET 2022. The eligibility criteria for BTech at RUNGTA for BTech is provided below:

• Admission through CPGET: The student must pass 10+2 with 45% marks in PCM.
• Admission through JEE MAINS: The student must pass 10+2 with 45% marks in PCM.

As you can see, the student need to pass PCM with 45% marks then if you can do it through Supplementary paper, then also you are eligible. So don't worry about this & focus on your 10+2 studies, it won't take you very hard to secure 45% marks in 10+2 & if you can do it in your supplementary examination then you are eligible for the course.

The cut off score for general category student for taking admission in B tech courses in Rungta Engineering college, Bhilai,MPradesh is as follows- Btech civil engineering -46.8, check in electricals and electronics engineering - 40.7, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering -62.7, in electrical engineering -47.6,BTech in Information Technology -39.3, BTech in data science 70.5. cut off score is for 2021.

Yes, the option to branch slide is available but it depends on the availability of seat in that particular department. If score well in your 1st year, then only you are allowed to change the branch which means you should be in the top 5 in your branch.

There are two ways:

1. Check for availability of the desired seat  with the management and apply for branch switch. Score above average percentage.
2. Find a student in the desired branch who wants to switch to your current branch. Swap seats with the student with the permission from the management.
