Kenma Kozume 9th Feb, 2025

hi ,

here is the explanation for your percentile :-

Your AEEE Phase 1 percentile score of 3.863 means that you have performed better than 3.863% of the total candidates who appeared for the exam. In other words, about 96.14% of the candidates have scored higher than you.

Understanding Your Chances of Admission

  • Admission to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham through AEEE depends on the rank derived from your percentile.
  • Your percentile is quite low (3.863%), meaning your rank will be on the higher side.
  • In previous years, students with percentiles above 70-80% had a better chance of getting into core branches like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical.
  • With your current percentile, it is very difficult to secure a seat in a good branch or campus.

Should You Attempt AEEE Phase 2?

Yes, you should definitely attempt AEEE Phase 2 because:

  • The best percentile from both phases will be considered for admission.
  • You can improve your score with better preparation.
  • A higher percentile will improve your chances of getting a seat in a preferred campus and branch.

these are the suggestions you may want to look upon :-

  1. Identify Weak Areas – Focus on improving topics where you lost marks.
  2. Revise Important Concepts – Prioritize Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  3. Practice More Mock Tests – Attempt AEEE-level mock tests to improve accuracy and time management.
  4. Consider Alternative Exams – You may also explore JEE Main (if applicable) or other university entrance exams for backup options.

hope this helps

if the percentile is 25.67 in aeee will one get Btech in aerospace in Coimbatore Amritha under slab 3?

kumardurgesh1802 9th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

Based on your AEEE percentile of 25.67 , securing a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Coimbatore campus under Slab 3 is highly unlikely. Historically, admission to Aerospace Engineering at the Coimbatore campus requires significantly higher percentiles. For instance, in previous years, the closing ranks for Aerospace Engineering were around 16,796, corresponding to much higher percentiles.

Given your current percentile, it would be prudent to explore alternative engineering branches or consider other campuses where the cutoff percentiles align more closely with your score. Additionally, you might want to look into other institutions that offer Aerospace Engineering with more accessible admission criteria.

if i get 46 percentile can we get seat in aeee 2025

Prachi Kumari 9th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Securing a seat in AEEE 2025 with a 46 percentile is challenging due to higher cutoff requirements . For instance, the Coimbatore campus typically requires:

  • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): Home State: 92–99 percentile; Other State: 95–99.5 percentile.

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): Home State: 84–93 percentile; Other State: 90–96 percentile.

Given your 46 percentile, admission to these branches is unlikely. However, cutoff scores vary annually and across campuses.

Wishing you the best !
