Congratulations for getting good rank in JKCET. According to last some years cut offs sorry to say but you have very less chances of getting admission into any government college in Jammu Kashmir.. The cut offs for some decent government colleges are generally below 1000 rank as your rank is higher than the cut offs so that the chances of admission are very less.

According to previous years cut offs the closing rank for civil branch in government college of engineering and technology Jammu is nearly between 450 to 700. At your rank it is very difficult to get Civil branch in GCET, Jammu. Your rank is little high than cutoff. so, there is very less chance to get Civil branch in GCET Colleges. But if the cut off varies you can get chance to get Civil branch in GCET.

However, assuminng that you are from UR category you can get admission in BE Electrical Engineering ,BE Computer Engineering ,BE Electronics & Communication Engineering and BE Mechanical Engineering in SSM College of Engineering, Baramulla .

NIT Srinagar is not a regional college so you can't get NIT Srinagar through jkcet. You can get this college only by the paper of jee mains.
Under jkcet their are many regional colleges rather than nit Srinagar which are best.
