if you are getting 900 ALL INDIA RANK, you can get nearly all branches except CSE in top 7 IITs,EE in top 3 IITs and ME in IIT bombay.

He can get nit on the basis of rank of jee mains.
First of all study all the topics from NCERT textbooks. In these types of competitive examinations your concepts are checked. The basic knowledge. And you can only get it reading NCERT Textbooks only. And then just solving previous 10 years questions.
It was conducted in 2 sittings with a total of 360 marks .

Not only JEE Advanced but all the entrance exams like JEE Main, SRMJEE, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, MU OET etc, have their questions jumbled.
