The authority has concluded the WB PGET registration 2024 on June 23, 2024. MAKAUT released the WB PGET 2024 application form on June 5 on the official website. Candidates had to fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions to apply for WB PGET 2024. The application process consists of registration, form filling, uploading documents and payment of the application fee. The steps to fill WB PGET 2024 application form are listed below for reference purposes only.
Step 1: Filling of Application - The first step in filling out the WB PGET 2024 application form is registration by entering all the required details like the candidate’s name, gender, date of birth, category, educational qualifications, etc. along with a valid mobile number and email ID. After entering the details, the candidate has to submit the data.
Step 2: Uploading of Documents - In the next step, candidates have to upload scanned images of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications provided by the authorities.

Step 4: Submission of Application Form - After the document upload, candidates have to review his/her application form click on the “declaration” that all details entered by him/her are correct, and click on “Submit”. After submission of the form, an application number and password will be sent to the candidate via Email and SMS.
Step 5: Payment of Fee - The last step of the application process is the payment of a fee. Candidates can pay the WB PGET 2024 application fee only in online mode through credit/debit card or internet banking. Once a candidate pays the fee, a payment slip will be generated on the screen. Candidates are advised to save it for future reference.

The university will conduct the WB PGET 2024 exam in three cities of West Bengal. Candidates had to select their two preferred exam cities according to their convenience while filling out the application form. The university has released the PGET syllabus on the official website. Candidates must check the PGET syllabus 2024 to prepare for the exam. "Admission test will be through written test followed by an interview to test the aptitude and analytical abilities, computational skills, fundamental in relevant basic subjects. The syllabus for a written test will be as per GATE syllabus for CSE & IT for 1,2 and 4; and CSE & Electronics for 3. "
