There is a relaxation of 5% for candidates of SC, ST, Category‐I, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), and persons with disability of mental retardation or mental illness (including dyslexia). They should have a minimum score of 40% in the qualifying exam.

It's unlikely you'll get a veterinary college in Bangalore with a KCET rank of 5000, even with the ST caste and CRPF quota, as the general cutoff is often around 1200, and even special category quotas typically don't extend that far.
