Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test
Hello, On the basis of your marks scored in JKCET, you won't get civil engineering in any of the colleges which take admission through JKCET. past year cutoff of the civil branch in top colleges like GCET Jammu was up to 200 rank and CSE Branch cutoff was up to 800 rank.
Hello Mohsin..
Well if you are eligible and qualified in the JKCET entrance examination then you can absolutely apply for councelling. But according to the last few years result analysis I don't think that you can get any seat for admission in the colleges on the basis of these marks. You should work hard to get that your score is very low to get admission in colleges under jkcet.
Hope you work hard...and get the best colleges.
Good luck and comment below for more queries regarding this in comment section. ..
Hi,
So there are 20% seats reserved for RBA in all government colleges that accept admission through jkcet. Since you got 29.25 marks , your rank would be somewhere between 1800 and 2200. If you get a rank within 200 , admission to any branch is confirmed in GCET . A rank within 1000 will get you a seat in GCET . I dont think you would be able to secure admission to GCET or other government colleges with this rank even in RBA.
Can I get any college on 14.25 in jcket with RBA category? Should I apply for counseling
Hello..adil
Well this is not much good rank to get civil branch in the government colleges under the jkcet entrance examination. Your chance to get this branch in these colleges are quite low. But you can get other private colleges for admission easily but you should go for the government may you get anyone of them in the jkcet councelling.
May you get best college for admission...
Good luck..and comment below for more queries..
Dear Aspirant, the closing rank for first round counseling is 2167.
So you please go for the counseling process, there will be so many rounds of counseling.
Thank you. Best of luck.
