U can't get anything good through jossa counselling. Try for private colleges in your states. You will get vry good college at this rank

If you cleared JEE Main, then you can participate in the JoSAA counselling. However, if you have not cleared the JEE Advanced, then you cannot apply for IIT.

I can tell you about the ranks, because marks and cutoff's tend to change every year, decreasing the predictability. Getting a decent IIT is not a difficult task if you're ready to put in the right amount of time and hard work. Coming to my point, a rank under 2000

If you want to do any good in IIT JEE or any exam you need to limit your study material but do that material 100%.
