Prachi Kumari 20th Nov, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can use your improved mark sheet for Assam CEE.

Assam CEE allows candidates to show their latest and updated Class 12 marks as long as the candidate has passed the exam with the required percentage.

So if you appear for the betterment exam in Chemistry and Alternative English, and your new marks improve your aggregate, you can submit the upgraded mark sheet during counselling. You do not need to use the old one.

You will be considered based on your latest valid mark sheet.

Hope it helps !

My rank Assam cee 4085 can I admission Assam engineering college

Tanisha chaudhary 27th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

  • With a rank of 4085 in Assam CEE 2025, admission to Assam Engineering College (AEC) for highly sought-after branches such as Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Mechanical Engineering is, quite frankly, improbable.
  • The competition for these branches is intense, and the closing ranks are significantly lower than your current position.
  • To provide some context: CSE typically admits candidates up to rank 500, ECE up to about 1,000, and Mechanical Engineering up to around 1,500.
  • For branches like Civil or Electrical Engineering, the closing ranks may extend to approximately 2,500.
  • While candidates with ranks in the 3,000–5,000 range might secure seats in less in-demand branches or in later counseling rounds, the likelihood of obtaining a preferred branch at AEC with a rank of 4085 remains quite low due to the high level of competition.
