Based on the previous few years trends the CSE cutoff of amrita University coimbatore the closing rank for open quota is 1813 and for state quota it is 13801. Based on this numbers i believe you have a chance.

First and foremost, congrats on your AEEE 2021 achievement.  The state to which one belongs is the determining factor. Because Coimbatore is in Tamil Nadu, students from that state are considered locals and can easily secure a CS seat at Amrita, even if their rank is in the 6000 range. If you are a student from another state, you should aim for a rank of around 3000, as there are just a few seats available for non-locals and students from other states. According to your marks you can get rank upto 6000 to 8000. But you can give a try to the main and other campuses of Amrita University. Don't loose hope.

Previous years cutoff

Based on the previous few years trends the cutoff for CSE in open quota is 6940 and that of state quota is 16547. Based on your rank and considering you have state quota, you have a chance in securing a seat.
