i got 13.4K rank in aeee 2021. i am a bc candidate. can i get cse in any campus? if not what other branches are possible? (....under tn state quota)

Hello Aspirant

With a rank of 13400 you have almost no chances chances to get Computer Science Engineering in Amrita Coimbatore campus even if you have home state quota. You need a rank less than 11500 to get into Amrita Coimbatore CSE with state quota.
You cannot get into other Amrita campuses with CSE branch as you will be an open category candidate for other branches. For other campuses you need a rank below 4000 for open category students.
In Amrita Coimbatore campus you can get into other branches like ECE, EIE, EEE and all others based upon preference except CSE.

Hi

It is very difficult to predict the actual cutoff because of its ever changing nature. The cutoff varies as it depends on various factors like:
Number of students appeared for exam
Number of seats available
Performance of candidates in AEEE
Previous years cutoff
How tough the exam was

Following Previous years trends and looking at Previous cutoffs
Amrita school of engineering, bangalore: CSE closing rank for open quota is 6767 and state quota is 10354
Amrita school of engineering, amritapuri: CSE closing rank open quota 6940 and state quota 16557
Amrita school of engineering, coimbatore CSE closing rank for open category is 1813 and state quota is 13801

Based on this cut off you have chance in bangalore and amritapuri if you are from open category, if you have state quota you can get a seat in any of the three.

Following Previous few years cutoff trend and based on your rank, you can get it if you have state quota. For Open category the rank should be below 10k.
CSE is the most sought out branch in amrita University and thus the competition is very high for CSE branch the closing rank is between 1813 to 6940

The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is becoming really hard these days because of the huge demand.

you will be able to check the cutoff of AEEE 2021 in online mode after it is released by the official authorities. The opening and closing ranks which will decide the chances of admissions into the institute will be released through AEEE cutoff 2021.

You didnt mention your category so i have considered you a general category student. As per last few years cutoff trend, with 10000 rank in AEEE, it is not possible to get Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore.

Congratulations for your excellent rank in AEEE 2021. With your rank you have decent chances to get into Amrita Coimbatore or Amritpuri campus with CSE branch if you have state quota.
To get into core CSE branch from Amrita Coimbatore you should have a rank of 9000 or below if you have state quota. If you are from open category then you should have a rank of 1500 or below.
With your rank you have good chances to get into CSE specialization for AI or Cybersecurity.

I got 5871 rank in Aeee 2021 .Can I get cse in Coimbatore campus?

Hi aspirant,

Though you have performed quite well, it would not be possible for you to get a seat in computer science and engineering program at Coimbatore campus. Analysis of previous year trends shows that the closing rank for CSE under open quota is around 1600 which is in contrast to your rank.

However you have a chance if you are eligible for state quota reservation, closing ranks for which are close to 6k but it would still be difficult. You have best chances at Bengaluru campus in case you want to prefer CSE program else you need to opt for comparitively lower branches to get a seat in main campus.
