what is the minimum rank needed in AEEE for getting scholarships in amrita chennai campus

Ayush Madanpotra 11th Jun, 2025

To get a scholarship at Amrita Chennai campus through the AEEE exam, your rank should be under 8000. But the better your rank, the higher your scholarship. If your rank is below 2000, you can get the highest scholarship. If your rank is between 2000 to 4000, you may get a good scholarship. If your rank is between 4000 to 8000, you may get a small scholarship. Above 8000 rank, it’s hard to get a scholarship. Also, it depends on the branch you choose, popular ones like CSE need a better rank.

What is minimum AEEE percentile and +12 marks are required to join Amrita, Coimbatore in Non Scholarship category .

Hello,

Hope you are doing great.

Answering to your question ,
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham does not set a minimum percentile criteria for the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE). The selection process relies solely on the candidate's performance in AEEE, without any specified minimum percentile cut-off for the exam. Nevertheless, to be eligible for admission to Amrita University's B.Tech programs, candidates must have successfully completed Class 12 with an aggregate of 60% marks.

Hope this helps!!

Ive got 92.56 percentile in AEEE and 94.785% in jee mains, can I get Robotics and Artificial intelligence in Amrita Bengaluru, as a person from other state?

Satvik 9th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

You have a good chance of securing a seat in the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence program at Amrita Bengaluru with 92.56 percentile in AEEE and 94.785% in Jee mains, especially through the AEEE exam route. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham gives preference to AEEE exam scores for admissions, but they also consider JEE Mains scores in some cases.

Being from another state does not reduce your chances significantly, as Amrita admits students from all over India. However, admission to popular branches like Robotics and AI can be competitive, so it will also depend on the overall cutoffs that year.

I recommend participating in the counseling process for both AEEE and JEE Mains streams to maximize your chances.
