The following steps have to be followed to complete the MET M.Tech registration.
Registration: Candidates first have to register themselves with basic details before filling out the application form for MET M.Tech 2026. For registration, candidates have to add their name, email address, mobile number, and date of birth. Next, they have to choose their category and course details and then click on the "Register" button. The authorities will send a verification link to the registered email. After verification, candidates have to move to the next stage.
Filling the application form: Next, candidates have to log in to their candidate login portal by using their registered email address or mobile number and password. Next, candidates have to enter the required contact details, such as their contact details, pin code, registered number, and more.
Academic Qualification: Next, candidates will have to enter their academic information, such as exam-qualified status, passing year, affiliation, and more.
Upload Documents: In the next step, Candidates will have to upload their scanned images of documents as asked, such as a photograph and signature, as per the prescribed format.
Application Fee Payment: Once the details are completely filled in the MET M.Tech 2026 application form, candidates will be transferred to the payment gateway page for application fee payment. MAHE will release the MET M.Tech 2026 result in an online mode. The MET MTech result 2026 will be available for students who will appear in the entrance examination. To check the result of MET M.Tech 2026, candidates had to use the application form number and password.
The MET M.Tech 2026 result will be available in PDF format on the official website. The details such as marks and rank secured by candidates in the entrance examination, personal details and more will be made available through the MET PG result 2026.
The minimum marks required for admission to the Manipal Institute will be the MET M.Tech 2026 cutoff. Candidates will have to score marks above the cutoff for getting admission in their preferred course. MAHE will consider various factors while preparing the Manipal University MTech cutoff such as the number of applications received, number of candidates appearing in the entrance examination, difficulty level of entrance examination, availability of seats, and previous year cutoff trends. Candidates applying through GATE will be given an additional benefit of 10% marks apart from the marks secured in the MET MTech entrance exam 2026. Candidates whose names appear in MET M.Tech 2026 merit list will be invited to attend the counselling process.
Candidates can participate in the MET M.Tech 2026 counselling based on the rank secured in the examination. Candidates will have to physically present at the allotted centres to participate in MET PG counselling process 2026.
Candidates will have to first register and complete the choice filling and locking followed by document verification. The authorities will initiate the MET M.Tech seat allotment process subsequently. Candidates unable to be present at the counselling centre will be able to authorise another person on their behalf for counselling. However, the concerned person shall have an authorisation as NOC from the candidate.

The session 1 MET M.Tech exam date 2026 will be tentatively in April 2026.
