LPUNEST Eligibility Criteria 2026 - Lovely Professional University has published the LPUNEST 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website, nest.lpu.in. Candidates can check the detailed LPUNEST eligibility criteria for 2026 for B.Tech on this page. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the LPUNEST application form 2026. The LPUNEST 2026 slot booking is being conducted from December 10, 2025 to January 15, 2026. Candidates must have passed class 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English and have secured a minimum of 60% marks to appear for the LPUNEST exam. The LPUNEST 2026 exam will be conducted from January 10 to February 5, 2026 (remotely proctored) and January 20 to February 5, 2026 (test centre-based).

Nationality: Indian citizens can apply for the LPUNEST B.Tech course

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed or appearing in the Class 12 (10+2 scheme) Board examination from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)/ Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE)/State Board/other councils, institution, college, etc. recognised by CBSE, New Delhi or other concerned apex bodies who fulfill the LPUNEST 2026 BTech eligibility criteria.

Passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics, and English), subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET or JEE Main (From Phase II Onwards).


Admission Criteria: Merit in LPUNEST or CUET or JEE Main, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

BTech Biotechnology (BT), BTech (Food Technology) and BTech (Biomedical Engineering)

Passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET or JEE Main (From Phase II Onwards).


Admission Criteria: Merit in LPUNEST or CUET or JEE Main, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

BTech Chemical Engineering (CHE), BTech (Civil Engineering), BTech (Mechanical Engineering), BTech (Mechatronics Engineering), BTech (Aerospace Engineering) and BTech (Automobile Engineering)

Passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET or JEE Main (From Phase II Onwards).


Admission Criteria: Merit in LPUNEST or CUET or JEE Main, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

BTech (CSE - AI and Data Engineering), BTech (CSE - Decision Science and Machine Learning)

Passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview.


Admission Criteria: Merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

BTech (CSE-Software Product Engineering)

Passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Mains and Interview.


Admission Criteria: Merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

For a candidate who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.

* 5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
