 Assuming that you are from general category , it is very difficult to get there with this rank. Moreover preference is given go GATE qualified students . Even top 500 ranks of general category are not sure of getting

There are two rounds of TS pgecet counselling  ,one for the gate qualified students and second round for non qualified students or  TS PGCET qualified School .preference is given tO GATE qualified students After the first round of counselling , the remaining vacant sears are allotted to  non gate

Congratualations you have got good rank in TSPGECET, the best branch for mechanical engineering for Mtech and specially girls are Automobile Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Product Design and engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing etc, these Branches are good for girls in my view and most of them are based on software design.
