Hello Greetings

The JEE Main cutoff for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in 2025 hasn't been released yet. However, we can look at the previous year's cutoffs to get an idea of the qualifying marks for NIT and IIT.

For IITs, the cutoff for Artificial Intelligence varies depending on the institute and category. Here are some previous year's cutoffs:

- *IIT Hyderabad*: The general category cutoff for Artificial Intelligence was 685 .

- *IIT Kharagpur*: The opening rank for Artificial Intelligence was 434, and the closing rank was 795 for the general category .

- *IIT Gandhinagar*: The opening rank for Artificial Intelligence was 1424, and the closing rank was 2055 for the general category .

As for NITs, the cutoffs also vary depending on the institute and category. You can check the official websites of the NITs or the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for the latest cutoff information.

Keep in mind that the cutoffs may fluctuate each year depending on factors like the difficulty level of the exam and the number of candidates appearing. It's essential to stay updated with the latest information and prepare well for the exam to secure a good rank.

Have a great day

Ofcourse you can give both the exam JEE and GUJCET as JEE exam give admission to IIT, NIT, and GFTIs for B. Tech courses and GUJCET offers seats in the universities situated in Gujarat.by giving two exams you have more options of colleges to choose from for your b.tech course.

If you see Engineering Admission Process are like this

Josaa: This is JEE counselling process. This would Only admitted students on the basis of JEE Mains marks and would be considered for your rank.

ACPC: This is your state admission process which GUJCET marks along with PCM boards theory marks would be considered. 50% of college seats are given to ACPC.

Since you are interested in both JEE as well as GUJCET, I'd advice you to enroll through both the processes for good colleges and good branches.

Best of luck!!!

Hello aspirant,

About 90–95 percentile scores are needed for the General category, 80–85 percentile for the EWS category, 75–80 percentile for the OBC-NCL category, 55–60 percentile for the SC category, and 45–50 percentile for the ST category in order to pass JEE Main 2025.

Hi Shaik,

If you're unsure about securing a good score in JEE Mains but still wish to pursue a BTech, there are several alternative pathways you can explore:

1. State-Level Engineering Entrance Exams :

  • Andhra Pradesh conducts the AP EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test) , which is a state-level exam for admission to engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Focus on preparing for AP EAMCET if you feel JEE Mains might not yield the desired result. State-level exams generally have a different difficulty level compared to JEE.

2. Private Universities :

  • Many private universities offer direct admission or conduct their own entrance exams for engineering programs. Some reputed ones include:
    • VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) through VITEEE.
    • SRM University through SRMJEEE.
    • Manipal Academy of Higher Education through MET.
  • These exams might be easier compared to JEE and provide excellent education opportunities.

3. Management Quota :

  • Private engineering colleges often have a management quota, where you can secure a seat without a competitive exam score. However, this may involve higher fees.

6. Consider other Entrance Exams :

  • Some colleges accept scores from tests like CUET (Common University Entrance Test) or COMEDK UGET (for Karnataka colleges), which might align with your preparation level.

Meanwhile, Register and prepare for AP EAMCET and any other university-specific exams that interest you. Explore to private  or deemed universities offering BTech programs. Research colleges within Andhra Pradesh that offer admission based on criteria other than JEE.

You can check out the given link for more details.

All the best!

To get a seat in private colleges that accept JEE Mains scores, you need to apply directly to those colleges through their individual application process, as JoSAA only handles admissions to government colleges like IITs, NITs, and IIITs; you cannot get a private college seat through JoSAA counselling.

  • You need to fill Separate applications:

Each private college will have its own application form and admission criteria, so you need to apply to them individually after checking their eligibility requirements.

  • Check college websites:

Visit the websites of private colleges you are interested in to access their application forms, deadlines, and JEE Mains score requirements.

  • Consider CSAB counselling:

While not directly for private colleges, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) may sometimes have a special round for certain private institutions after JoSAA counselling.

Have a look Top private colleges through JEE

GOOD LUCK!!!

Hello there,

Here’s a structured approach to taking JEE Mains mock tests based on the Class 12th syllabus :

Key Areas of Focus:

  1. Physics :

    • Mechanics : Newton's Laws, Work Energy Theorem, Laws of Motion.
    • Thermodynamics : Heat Transfer, Laws of Thermodynamics.
    • Electrostatics : Coulomb's Law, Capacitors.
    • Optics : Reflection, Refraction, Lens and Mirror formulas.
    • Waves and Oscillations : Simple Harmonic Motion, Wave Motion.

  2. Chemistry :

    • Physical Chemistry : Mole Concept, Chemical Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Solutions.

    • Organic Chemistry : Hydrocarbons, Alcohols, Ethers, Biomolecules.
    • Inorganic Chemistry : Periodic Table, Coordination Compounds, p-block elements.

  3. Mathematics :

    • Algebra : Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Determinants.
    • Calculus : Limits, Derivatives, Integrals, Application of Derivatives.
    • Coordinate Geometry : Straight Lines, Circles, Parabolas.
    • Trigonometry : Identities, Equations, Heights and Distances.

      Steps to Follow:

  4. Identify Syllabus Topics : Review your Class 12th syllabus to focus on topics that are included in JEE Mains.

  5. Find Mock Test Papers : Look for Class 12-based mock tests designed for JEE Mains . Many platforms and books provide mock tests specifically focused on the current syllabus. Some popular platforms for these are:

    • Embibe
    • Byju’s
    • Unacademy
    • Vedantu

  6. Solve Mock Tests : Start solving one mock test per week . This will help you get familiar with the pattern and time management. Gradually, increase the frequency to two or three mock tests per week .

  7. Analyze Results : After completing the mock test, analyze your results to identify your weak areas . Work on improving them before attempting the next test.

  8. Time Management : Focus on completing the mock test within the time limit. Aim for accuracy and speed. Try not to spend too much time on a single question.

  9. Focus on High-Weightage Topics : Prioritize topics with high weightage in the exam such as Electrostatics , Optics , Calculus , and Coordinate Geometry .

By following this approach, you will gain better control over your preparation, and solving mock tests will significantly help you boost your confidence for the actual exam.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
