Yes, you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2026.
You passed Class 12 in 2024 (CBSE) but didn’t meet the 75% requirement, so you reappeared through NIOS in 2025 and scored 75%. Since NIOS is a recognized board and you now meet the 75% eligibility, you’re allowed to appear for JEE Advanced in 2026. Also, JEE Advanced allows attempts in the year of passing 12th and the following year. So as long as you qualify JEE Main 2026 and are in the top 2.5 lakh candidates, you’re eligible.

Yes, in Andhra Pradesh Board you can appear for Improvement/Betterment exams the next year after passing. You don’t need to write all subjects again, you can choose specific subjects where you want to improve. Practical exam marks will be carried forward, so you don’t need to repeat them. The better of the two scores will be considered for your marks memo. After results, a revised marks sheet is issued if you score higher. This option is valid even if you take a drop year for JEE.
Hello,
Since you got admission through JEE Main rank (All India quota) , your admission is considered under the open/general category , not the state reservation (NT-C) category.
So, you need to pay the Open/General category fees , not the NT-C fees.
Hope it helps !

Hello prince,
Aazs you mentioned that your JEE attempts are over and you are thinking to give your 12th again so let me tell you that if you are planning to do so. Then kindly aim for IIT because if you are not able to crack even NIT then you can get into some serious trouble as maximum colleges in which companies will come will not allow such drop years in your academic curriculum.

If you fulfill the above eligibility criterias then only you are eligible to sit for jee mains.
If you passed 12th in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 2023, you need to study PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math) to be eligible for BTech in IIT Bombay through JEE Advanced. You can join 12th again with PCM subjects in 2024 and appear for JEE Main and Advanced after passing. This way, you become eligible because math is compulsory for engineering. So yes, you can do 12th again with PCM and then try for IIT through JEE. Keep working hard!
