KCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

KCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be an Indian National.
• Students must have passed the 2nd PUC/class 12th/equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Electronics/Computer Science with English as a language subject.
• No minimum marks are required for KCET 2026 for any category candidates.

KCET B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for admission to KCET B. Pharm courses is given below:

• Candidates must have qualified the 2nd PUC or class 12th examination with PCM or PCB subjects.
• General candidates must have secured 45% aggregate, while reserved categories, i.e., Category-I, OBC, and ST/SC, should secure 40% to apply for KCET 2026, or passed Diploma in Pharmacy for government-approved and general candidates should have scored 45% while SC/ST categories and Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) must secure 40%.

KCET B.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have to pass in 2nd PUC/Class 12th/equivalent exam from a recognized board along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and an optional subject as Biology to be eligible for KCET 2026.

Steps to fill KCET registration form

The KCET 2026 registration started on January 16, 2026. Candidates needs to fill out the KCET registration form 2026 in two stages. The first stage consists of filling and editing the form, while the second stage includes confirmation and submission of the same. It should be noted that the KCET application form is available only in online mode. Candidates can check the steps to fill out the KCET 2026 application form below.

Step 1 - KCET 2026 Registration: Candidates can register for KCET 2026 by providing details such as SSLC register number, SSLC Passing year, guardian name, mother's name, email, contact number, and password.

After the KCET exam registration is done, the candidates have to enter the following details application form:

Step 4 - Uploading of Scanned Images: Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, and left thumb impression, along with their parents’ signature of left thumb impression as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. The images must be in the required format and size.

Step 5 - Submission of Form: Finally, candidates have to review all of the details submitted, and corrections can be done by clicking on the ‘Edit Application Form’ button. Candidates have to accept the declaration and finally submit the KCET 2026 application form.

The printout of the KCET application form 2026 has to be attested by the School Principal or PU of the institute/school/college studied or currently studying, or by any Gazetted Officer. Candidates are required to produce this attested KCET application form at the counselling session.

Candidates will be able to retrieve their forgotten KCET password by following the given steps:

• Click ‘Forgot Password’
• Click on ‘Create New Password’
• KCET User ID, application number, security question, answer, and security code have to be entered.
• Click on ‘Submit’
• A new password of choice has to be generated by the candidates and confirmed.
• Candidates will also be able to check their new password through their registered email address or mobile number.

KCET 2026 Application Form Correction Facility

KEA will commence the KCET form correction process online. The registered candidates can use the KCET form correction facilities to edit/correct the details submitted in the application form of CET 2026. The Karnataka Examination Authority will issue the KCET 2026 admit card online on the official website. Only those who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to access and download their KCET admit card. Candidates are required to carry a printout of the KCET admit card 2026 on the day of the examination.
