As per the previous years cut off the second round counseling closing rank for ECE was 42K. Apart from that, you can get Civil, Production and Biomedical branches in VIT Vellore with your rank.

Hello dear, 

According to your rank in VITEEE 2019 you have very less chance to get seat in mechanical engineering with specialization automotive engineering in VIT vellore campus as the previous year closing rank for the same is under 25000.

Based on the past record you have no chance with the other branches except for civil engineering.That is your last hope at vit chennai.however you can try your luck with the other branches like vit bhopal or ap.You have more chance of getting a seat there!you can possibly get a eee also!They are new campuses relatively their quality might not be as good as chennai or vellore ! However all tjis depends on what course you actually want.So try to get a good course like ece or civil .

Your other option is to try from other universities like srm or manipal.They are equally good butnot the best.Again depends on whether you have written their entrance exams.Try for bitsat also.

All  the best ,choose wisely based on your intrest and scope.See what you genuinely like instead of just doing engineering because i have seen many regreting after taking the wrong course.

I got 12300 rank can I get cse in vit Vellore campus 

Hi Ipshita!! Congratulations on all of your ranks!! I would like to inform you that as far as VIT is concerned you'll not get CSE in any campuses,you have chances of getting Ece/EEE in campuses of VIT,Amaravati and VIT,Bhopal or you can go for management quota where you have to pay the highest fees and get admission to VIT,vellore and besides VIT you can get all the stream in all campuses of SRM except the main campus where you can get all branches except CSE and IT and for GITAM you can all branches in all campuses.

Now it's totally your decision that what'll you choose. Do some research beforehand on all these campuses about their placements,infrastructures and faculty.

Yes, For your rank you have few chances to get Computer science and engineering at Vellore campus because as per this years closing rank estimation, The cutofd for Computer science and engineering it is around 15,000. However it is not gurantees that you’ll get CSE or not. Anyways the VIT University is rated as AAAA by Careers360 , no.1 private university of India and deemed to be university. The tution fee at Vellore campus is 1,98,000/- per year. The hostel fee is 72,300/- per year. The top placement package is 39 lakhs and the least is 5 lakhs per annum.
