what is the minimum gate score required to get seat in jntuh and ou, st(boys), civil engg

Mrunal Barapatre 27th Oct, 2020

Hello There,

To get admission in the JNTU Hyderabad, MTech in Civil engineering, you Need to get a score around 20-25 in GATE. For the year 2020, the cutoff score was 21.9 for the ST category. For the year 2019, the cutoff score was 18.8. It may increase or decrease based on the difficulty level of the exams and the number of students attempting the exam.

Speaking of Osmania University, I didn't get the particular information about cutoffs. I will update you as soon as find the cutoff scores of the OU.

Good luck and be safe...

I got 112 rank TS PGECET CS branch, is there any chance of getting a seat in OU

Neha 23rd Oct, 2020

Dear candidate,

Firstly OU consider GATE qualifying candidates and then they select on the basis of merit ranks.Only few seats are available for TS PGCET candidates. According to your rank ,you a bit difficult chance to get CSE .You have good chances that you will get other branches. But nevertheless you still have bit of chances but these are just prediction. The seats are limited i.e approx 20 . So your further admission will be decided on factors like how many candidates are applying for the course , seats intake , ranks and previous year trends. But don't worry go for counselling and you will get clearance.

Hope this helps

Sir,I belong to SC (Boy),My TS PGECET rank is 596-CIVIL ENGINEERING. What are the possible colleges i could get?

Tarreni Behera 21st Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Congratulations dude on getting such an overwhelming rank. Not just civil Engineering, with this rank you can get admission in any of the good government engineering colleges in the entire state of Telangana for post graduation.

The key factors that must be introspected with absolute pertinence with great astuteness are placement prospects and packages offered, teaching faculty, skill based courses and opportunities, good campus ambience, and infrastructure.

M. Tech programmes should be good enough to placate students looking for a job and ease the pressure that they have on their shoulders for ages. Besides that, it should have a great exposure to intense research opportunity so that one may look forward to Ph.D programmes as well.
