TMISAT exam has different pattern as compared to other Engineering entrance tests.
Syllabus for this entrance test is based on your class 11 and class 12 CBSE Syllabus
So you have to prepare for following subjects:
Physics
Mathematics
Chemistry
Analytical
Logical reasoning
English grammer, vocabulary
Make sure that you complete your class 11 and 12 books. Prepare all the chapters from your NCERT books.
I'll suggest you few books for preparation:

- chapterwise topicwise solved papers of mathematics- B.L Sharma
- general Aptitude theory and practice- Anand Kumar, Ajay Kumar
- quantitative Aptitude for competitive examination- R S Aggarwal
- handbook of physics- Nipendra Bhatnagar
Important chapters for maths are:
1. Probability
2. Matrices(VVl)
3.integral
4.Differentia equation
Physics:
1. SHM
2.laws of motion
3. Gravitation
4.laws of motion
Also you have to learn important physics and chemistry and maths formulas.
Eligibility for TMISAT 2019:
Age: max 21, min 17
60% aggregate marks in class 12 with PCM
Medical fitness will also be considered
Make sure that you cover all the chapters from your books of class 11th 12th .
And search for more books for logical reasoning and analytical .

Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) has released the TMISAT 2019 Application form on January 7th, 2019. Thus, eligible and interested candidates can apply for admission to B.Tech Marine Engineering course via TMISAT 2019. TMI will conduct TMISAT 2019 in the month of May 2019. TMISAT 2019 will be in online mode across several test centers in India. Also, appearing in India Maritime Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is also mandatory for admission in TMI.
Yes, you can fill the form after 30th April. The last date for submission is 31st May, 2019. TMISAT is known to be conducted on different dates in different locations. This year, the exam will commence during 30th April to 7th May 2019.

Hi aspirant, As per recent announcement from TMI , you have to appear for both TMISAT and IMUCET, and also need to secure minimum marks in board examination. Also syllabus and difficulty level are mostly same for both the exams. Just put focus first on board exam results and then prepare well for both TMISAT and IMUCET and you will get an admission.

No you are not allowed to use calculators in TMISAT. Infact you should not carry any electronic items like mobile phones, digital watches, smart watches, earphones etc. You just need to carry your admit card, blue or black ball point pen and any government ID card.

no imu cet and tmisat exams are not coming on the same day. you can check the date for tmisat at https://engineering.careers360.com/exams/tmisat while for imu cet it is 1 june as mentioned at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/imu-cet. stay tuned for further updates.
