out of VIT, SRM, BITS and MIT(Manipal), which has most seats in electrical engineering and the best chance of admission?
Ideally, most of the above Universities have similar number of seats in Engineering, only fact that BITS Pilani has 3 Campuses, Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad hence more number of Seats.
As far as chances in admission are concerned, BITS Admissions are totally based on merit, and you need to secure a good Score in BITSAT (300+ Minimum)to stand a chance in securing Electrical/Electronics at one of the 3 BITS Campuses, with Pilani Campus Cutoff being anywhere above 330-340+ for Electrical.
As far as Other Institutes are Concerned, I believe VIT Vellore has a much relaxed admission criteria with the Category system. You may take admission in EE, from a lower Category, by paying a Net Higher Tuition Fees, in case Higher Category Seats are Filled on Merit in VITEEE/JEE Main as in this year 2021.
On the Other Hand Manipal has a much structured admission and counselling system, and you do have a great chance in securing EEE at MIT Manipal provided you are seriously preparing for Engineering Entrance Exams. MIT Manipal also has great Placements, being located near Electronics and IT Hubs of Bangalore.
My preference Order, If I were in your place would be
1. BITS P/G/H
2. MIT Manipal
3. VIT Vellore
4. VIT Chennai
5. SRM Chennai
All the Best !

Is JEE mains, VITEEE, COMEDK and SRMJEE a good set of entrance exams to apply to?
Dear Aspirant,
the above exams such as JEE Mains, VITEEE, COMEDK and SRMJEE id most definitely a good set of entrance exams you can apply to as it covers almost all engineering colleges in India with JEE Mains covering for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other state colleges, VITEEE covering Vellore Institute of Technology, COMEDK covering the colleges in the state of Karnataka and SRMJEE for SRM Univerisities.
However if you are interested in some of the other entrance exams to good colleges you can apply for BITs Entrance Exam which is the entrance exam for Birla Institute of Technology or MET which is the entrance exam for Manipal Institute of Technology.
out of SRMJEE, MHCET and ComedK, which should I apply to for the best chance of getting into btech for electrical engineering?
Assuming you are from Maharashtra State and have the domicile, after JEE Main you should give importance to MHTCET and prepare well. Best State Technical Institutes like VJTI Mumbai, KJ Somaiya, SPIT Mumbai, VIT Pune and COEP have excellent faculty, research facilities and placements as far as Electrical Engineering is concerned. Secondly, Institutes under Mumbai and Pune University have a very strong curriculum and provide effective engineering education.
However, as a backup, it is always desired you appear for COMEDK. Colleges like RVCE, MSRIT, BMSCE, Dayanand Sagar, NIE Mysore, SIT Tumkur and BIT Bangalore are good technical institutes with a strong employer outlook being located near IT, Technology and Industrial hubs of Bangalore and nearby Hyderabad and Chennai.
How many people apply for SRMJEE? what are the chances of getting into SRM university for electrical engineering?
Hello,
B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a full time 4 years undergraduate course at SRM University.
For taking admission in this course at SRM university you must have cleared your Class 12 with atleast 60 percent of marks.
Also, you must have studied the subjects like chemistry, physics and mathematics in Class 12 as these are mandatory subjects to be eligible for admission in this course.
You must have passed Class 12 from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS are also eligible to apply.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
