The NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)  exam is usually conducted in multiple phases from April to July each year. If you appear after 12th boards, you typically get 1 to 3 months for preparation, depending on your board exam schedule. It’s best to start preparing during Class 12 itself to maximize your chances. can i give nata 3rd attempt of june directly without giving 1st and 2nd ??

kumardurgesh1802 4th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

No, you cannot directly give the third attempt of NATA without appearing for the first and second attempts . NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) allows students to appear for multiple attempts in the same year, but you need to follow the official attempt order (first attempt, second attempt, third attempt). Each attempt is typically scheduled at different times during the year, and you must register for each one individually. However, if you're referring to a specific cycle of attempts (like 2025), you should check the official NATA website or notification for any updates or specific rules regarding attempts.

In Karnataka CET, for B Arch, admission is through NATA and a rank is given based on 50% NATA and 50% 10+2 PCM score. If a candidate wishes to write KCET for B Tech admission, will they get 2 separate KCET ranks - one for B ARCH and one for BE/B Tech?

kumardurgesh1802 24th Jan, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, if a candidate wishes to appear for both B.Arch and B.Tech admissions through KCET in Karnataka, they will receive two separate KCET ranks .

  • For B.Arch admission : The rank will be based on a combination of 50% NATA score and 50% 10+2 PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) marks.

  • For B.Tech admission : The rank will be determined based solely on the KCET entrance exam performance, with no consideration of NATA scores.

So, while both exams are conducted through KCET, the ranking system for B.Arch and B.Tech is distinct, and you will get a separate rank for each course.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
