About CIPET JEE 2019

CIPET JEE 2019 will be conducted by Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) on July 7, 2019 for admission to diploma courses offered at various campuses of the institute. Candidates can select from any of the two available diploma programs - Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT) and Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT). The computer-based exam will be of 2 hours duration and will be conducted in four slots. Questions will be objective type with four answer options, out of which one will be correct answer. Applications forms for appearing in the exam are open in online mode from April 18. Eligible candidates need to fill the form with correct information and submit it before the last date. Candidates who complete the application process successfully will be issued admit cards, which have to be downloaded online.

The result of the exam was released on July 13. Merit lists will also be published and used for short-listing candidates for counselling; marks of the entrance exam will be used for preparing the merit list. Short-listed candidates will be issued Provisional Admission Call Letters, which have to be downloaded.

CIPET JEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of CIPET JEE 2019 are the set of conditions that aspiring candidates have to meet to be considered for admission. In such a case where the candidate qualifies in the exam, but doesn’t meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, the candidate will not be considered for admission. Among the important eligibility criteria the candidate has to meet relate to age limit and qualifying exam. Check below for the full details. 

Age limit: There is no lower upper of lower age limit for appearing in the exam.

Qualifying exam: The candidate needs to have passed Class 10 exam with minimum 35% marks in aggregate. Those appearing in their Class 10 exam in 2019 can also apply. 

CIPET JEE 2019 Application Process

Application forms for the computer-based exam are available in online mode only from April 18, 2019. Before proceeding to fill the application form, it is recommended that the candidate goes through the guidelines for filling the application form. Also, only correct details should be used for filling the form – note that every detail will be checked during the document verification process. After duly filling the form, it has to be submitted before the last date. To ensure candidates don’t get confused and make mistakes when filling the CIPET JEE 2019 application form, the application form filling process is explained in brief below.

Steps to filling application form of CIPET JEE 2019

  • Registration – The candidate will have to enter details like name, date of birth, and valid mobile number and email id, to get registered.
  • Log-in to fill the form – The candidate will be able to log-in using the registered email id and mobile number. After logging-in select the appropriate programme from the five available options. Next fill in personal, academic, and correspondence details.
  • Upload necessary documents – In this step photograph and signature have to be uploaded in the prescribed format – check the table below.

  • Payment of application fee – The fee of Rs. 700 (Rs. 300 for SC and ST candidates) can be paid in both online and offline.
  • Take printout of confirmation page - If the payment is successful, the candidate can proceed to take printout of the Confirmation Page

CIPET JEE 2019 Exam Pattern

All candidates are urged to go through the exam pattern of CIPET JEE 2019 before they dive into exam preparation. This will help on different fronts, like the candidate will know about the mode of the exam, types of questions asked, exam time, and much more. CIPET JEE 2019 Mock Test

To help the candidate prepare for the exam in the proper way, exam officials will release model questions or sample papers of CIPET JEE 2019. The questions included in the sample papers are reflective of the questions that will be asked in the entrance exam, so the candidate will be able to gauge the difficulty level, weighatge, and other such insightful details that will give edge to his or her preparation. Another benefit of solving sample papers, which can be considered mock testing, is it will teach the candidate how to deal with difficult and tricky questions, manage time, and importantly keep a cool head.

CIPET JEE 2019 Admit Card

Exam authorities released the admit card of CIPET JEE 2019 in online mode on July 1. An important document for sitting in the exam, the admit card carries important information like the date and time of exam, name and address of exam centre, and also exam guidelines. Without the admit card no candidate will be allowed inside the exam venue. Also, care must be taken to preserve it until at least the admission process is over.

  • Enter mobile number, date of birth, and security code displayed on screen
  • Click on the “Log-in” button
  • The admit card will be displayed on screen

CIPET JEE 2019 Result

Admission authorities released the result of CIPET JEE 2019 in online mode on July 13. Authorities did not send results separately to the candidate either by post or any other means. The result included details like total and section-wise marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. 

How to check CIPET JEE Result 2019

  • Click on the result link 
  • Log-in to the portal using registration number
  • The result would be displayed on screen in downloadable PDF format.

Exam authorities will also prepare merit lists based on marks obtained by candidates in the exam, which will used to screen candidates for the counselling process.

CIPET JEE 2019 Counselling

Mode of Counselling: Offline

Candidates will be short-listed for counselling of CIPET JEE 2019 based on marks obtained by them in the entrance exam. Provisional Admission Call letters for offline counselling will be issued tentatively from the 2nd week of July, while counselling will commence from around 3rd week of the same month. Since the counselling process will be held offline, candidates will have to attend the process in person. They will also need to bring along originals of all relevant documents. 

How to download Provisional Admission Call Letter

  • Go to Applicant Log-in page
  • Log-in by entering registered mobile number, date of birth, and displayed Captcha
  • The Call Letter will be displayed on-screen in downloadable format

The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank, which will be prepared based on qualifying entrance marks. Additionally, the options selected by the candidate will also be considered.

Upon seat allotment, allotted candidates will have to pay the course fee and complete other formalities to confirm their seats.
