UPTAC Seat Allotment 2025 - UP Technical Admission Counselling will release UPTAC 2025 seat allotment on July 30 at uptac.admissions.nic.in. To check the UPTAC seat allotment result (for JEE candidates only), candidates need to login using application number and password. The seat allotment for UPTAC 2025 will be displayed on the dashboard. The seat allotment will include college and course allotted, candidate’s basic information and further steps to be taken after seat allotment.

How to check UPTAC seat allotment 2025?

Uttar Pradesh Technical admission council will release the seat allotment for 2025 on the official website. Candidates who qualified JEE Main and applied for UPTAC counselling 2025 can check their seat allotment for admission into B.Tech programs offered by various institutes of Uttar Pradesh.

Follow the steps to check the seat allotment :

  • Visit the official website of UPTAC, uptac.admissions.nic.in.

  • Click on the active link of UPTAC seat allotment 2025.

  • Enter the application number and password.

  • Click and submit the credentials.

  • UPTAC seat allotment will be displayed over there.

  • Candidates can check the allotted college and course.

  • Follow the instructions given along with the allotment for further admission process.

  • Download a copy of the allotment letter for future reference.

What to do after UPTAC 2025 seat allotment?

Once the seat allotment is released, candidates need to pay a seat acceptance fee within the specified time period. Seat acceptance fee is Rs. 20,000 (for General and OBC) and Rs. 12,000 (for SC/ST). After completing the payment a confirmation information will be shared. Candidates need to also submit online willingness to “Accept and Freeze” or “Accept and Float” to stay in the counselling process. The final step is to report the allotted college with all documents for further admission processes.

Online Willingness : Options available after the seat allotment

  1. Freeze : When a candidate chooses to "freeze", it means they accept the seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allotment. This will lock the seat for that candidate only, no upgradation will occur in subsequent rounds.

  2. Float : By selecting the “float” option, the candidate keeps their allocated seat but remains eligible for further rounds of counselling. If upgrades happen in subsequent rounds; previous seat will be replaced with a new one. You cannot move with the previous allotted seat in this case.

  3. Withdrawal: By choosing a “Withdrawal” candidate can cancel their participation in the counselling process.
