Gujarat PGCET 2024 Exam – Counselling (Started), Seat Allotment, Cutoff, Eligibility, Admission

About Gujarat PGCET 2024

Gujarat PGCET 2024 - ACPC announced the Gujarat PGCET 2024 seat allotment for round 1 on August 27. The link to check the seat allotment of Gujarat PGCET 2024 is updated on the website, acpc.gujarat.gov.in. Candidates could complete the round 1 choice filling and locking for Gujarat PGCET counselling 2024 from August 21 to 23.  The authority announced the Gujarat PGCET result for mock round on August 21. Gujarat PGCET choice filling for the mock round was held from August 17 to 19. Moreover, the Gujarat PGCET 2024 result was declared on August 16 on the official website, acpc.gujarat.gov.in. The final answer key of Gujarat PGCET 2024 was released on August 13. Candidates can download the Gujarat PGCET answer key pdf on the website, acpc.gujarat.gov.in. The authority released the provisional answer key of Gujarat PGCET 2024 was released on August 4. Candidates could challenge the provisional answer key by August 6. The Gujarat PGCET 2024 exam was conducted on August 3 and 4. The Gujarat PGCET admit card 2024 was issued online. Students willing to appear for the Gujarat Post Graduate Admission 2024 should either have qualified for the  GATE examination or have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the authorities.

Those candidates who are willing to appear for the Gujarat PG exam are advised to go through the Gujarat PGCET exam pattern 2024. The exam pattern of Gujarat PGCET 2024 will help to know the paper pattern. Also, candidates should closely study the Gujarat PGCET syllabus 2024 to know the topics asked in the entrance examination.

The Gujarat PGCET 2024 exam schedule includes various disciplines on August 3 to 5 2024, across multiple cities. On July 27, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, M. Arch, Aerospace Engineering, Metallurgy, Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, and Electronics & Communication will be conducted from morning to evening at centres in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot, and Surat. The following day, July 28, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, and Computer Engineering will be held at the same venues in two sessions.

The Gujarat PGCET 2024 provisional merit list will be announced on August 12, 2024. The authority will conduct the Gujarat PGCET choice filling from August 13 to 14, 2024, and the Gujarat PGCET mock result will be announced on August 17, 2024.

The Gujarat PGCET 2024 registration and fee payment process was concluded on July 1,  2024.  Moreover, the authority has also uploaded the provisional list of Gujarat PGCET 2024 participating institutes online. Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in B.E/B.Tech courses will be able to apply for the PGCET entrance exam. Additionally, candidates must have qualified in the GATE examination in the relevant discipline of engineering. However, the eligibility criteria for Gujarat PGCET 2024 may vary for each discipline.

About the Gujarat PGCET Exam 

ACPC conducts the Gujarat PGCET exam for admissions into postgraduate courses offered by the participating institutes of the exam. It is to be noted that GATE-qualified candidates applying for the Gujarat PGCET 2024 exam are not required to appear in the entrance test as they are eligible for direct admission.

The authorities released the Gujarat PGCET result 2024 in online mode. The authorities could download the Gujarat PGCET 2024 rank list from jacpcldce.ac.in. It should be noted that the Gujarat PGCET 2024 result was released in the form of a merit list.

Candidates will be able to check the opening and closing ranks of Gujarat PGCET within which admission to M.Tech courses will be offered with the help of Gujarat PGCET 2024 cutoff marks

Candidates named under the merit list will be able to appear for the Gujarat PGCET counselling process. The authorities have announced the Gujarat PGCET counselling dates. Applicants with valid GATE exam scores will also be eligible for Gujarat PGCET counselling. The exam conducting authorities will conduct three rounds of PGCET counselling 2024.

Both GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates and non-GATE/ GPAT candidates are allowed to fill out the application form. The steps involved in the Gujarat PGCET registration process are as follows:

Online registration: Firstly, candidates have to complete the initial registration with personal, academic, and communication details as required. Along with that, candidates also have to select one exam centre out of the options available. Further, they will have to create a password and upload a recent colour passport-size photograph in jpg/png/bmp format for a maximum of 20 KB.

Log in and submission of form: Next, candidates will have to authenticate all the particulars provided and accept the declaration given. After submission of the registration form, a unique registration number for a particular discipline will be generated on the screen and candidates will have to remember it. Candidates will be required to confirm the registration number and take at least two printouts of the filled application form for future reference.

Select Course for which Applying: At this stage, candidates have to choose the course for which they are willing to apply under Gujarat PGCET 2024. The course shall be opted as per the B.E./B.Tech specialization.

Uploading Certificates: Next, candidates have to upload documents of B.E./B.Tech and other certificates like SC/ST/PwD (if applicable). Candidates applying through GATE also need to upload their GATE scorecard.

Payment of Application Fees and Submission of Form: Finally, candidates have to pay the Gujarat PGCET application fee in online mode using credit/debit card or Internet banking. After the payment of the application fee, the Gujarat PGCET application form will be submitted automatically.

                                      Eligiblity Criteria:

                                      Candidate should have passed B.Pharm Degree examination  or B.Pharm examination of any other recognized Indian University established by law or any other degree courses in Pharmacy in an institutions located in state recognized as Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) or All India Council of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) for this purpose and who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks ,50% in case of SC/ST.
