Once the correction window opens , follow these steps:

1. Log in to your JEE Main application portal.

2. Look for the Correction in Application Form option.

3. Check if the exam paper selection can be modified.

Hello Prince,

With a 66 percentile in JEE Main 2025 , you might find options at some lower-tier or private colleges. Since you are aiming for a fee structure under 3 lakhs per year, here are a few institutions you can consider, which may align with your score and budget:

  • UPES Dehradun (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies)

    • Fee Structure: Approx. 2-3 lakh per year.
    • Known for its engineering programs, especially in petroleum, energy, and aviation.
  • Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow

    • Fee Structure: Approx. 1.5 - 2.5 lakh per year.
    • AKTU has many affiliated colleges offering engineering programs.
  • Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Lucknow

    • Fee Structure: Around 2-3 lakh per year.
    • A popular choice in Uttar Pradesh, known for good infrastructure and academic quality.
  • Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT), Delhi

    • Fee Structure: Approx. 1.5 to 2.5 lakh per year.
    • Located in Delhi, BPIT offers a solid engineering curriculum with affordable fees.
  • Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), Delhi

    • Fee Structure: Approx. 2 lakh per year.
    • A prominent engineering college in Delhi with a strong placement record.
  • Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar

    • Fee Structure: Approx. 1.5 - 2 lakh per year.
    • A state university with many affiliated engineering colleges.
  • Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), VIT Bhopal

    • Fee Structure: While the fees are higher in VIT Vellore, VIT Bhopal has slightly more affordable options.
    • Approx. 2.5-3 lakh per year.
  • Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur

    • Fee Structure: Approx. 1.5 lakh per year.
    • Offers a good range of engineering disciplines with decent infrastructure.

It's essential to check each college's exact fee structure and the branches offered, as the fees may vary based on the course (for example, Computer Science vs. Civil Engineering) and the specific institution's policies. You can also look into scholarship opportunities that can lower your overall cost.

Hello,

Candidates can attempt JEE Main for three consecutive years starting from the year they pass Class 12. If a student clears the compartment exams in 2026, CBSE will consider 2026 as their passing year.

Since JEE Main allows attempts in the passing year and two following years, they will be eligible to appear in 2027. NITs require candidates to have passed Class 12 in the same year or two years before admission.

So, they can appear for JEE Main in 2027 but will not be eligible for NIT admission in 2027.

Hope you find it useful !

Hello aspirant,

The formal announcement of the JEE Main 2026 syllabus has occurred. Papers 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) cover mathematics, physics, and chemistry. High scores and rank advancement depend on having a solid understanding of the subject.

Thank you

With an 85 percentile in JEE Mains EWS category as a girl candidate, you have a good chance of getting admission to some NITs, government engineering colleges, and IIITs, but likely not the top-ranked ones; you might need to consider lower ranked NITs or other government colleges depending on your branch preference and specific state cutoffs.

  • You percentile Not enough for top NITs:

An 85 percentile in EWS category might not be sufficient to secure admission to the most prestigious NITs like NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal.

  • Consider lower ranked NITs:

You can explore options in newer NITs or NITs located in less preferred regions where the cutoffs might be lower.

  • Check state-level government colleges:

Many state-level government engineering colleges have lower cutoffs compared to top NITs, and you might get a good branch there with this percentile.

IIITs:

Depending on your branch choice, you might be able to secure admission to some IIITs with this percentile.

What to do next:

  • Analyze the cutoff trends:

Check the previous year's cutoff trends for different NITs, IIITs, and government colleges in your desired branch to see which ones are within your reach.

Participate actively in the Joint Admission Counselling (JoSAA) process to choose colleges based on your rank and preferences.

  • Consider your branch choice:

Certain branches might have lower cutoffs compared to others, so choose wisely based on your interests and career goals.

Hope you get what you want...
