BCECE Exam 2024: Counselling Date (Out), Result, Eligibility, Admit Card, Syllabus, Pattern, Cutoff

About BCECE 2024

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the BCECE 2024 revised counselling schedule online. The BCECE 2024 round 2 seat allotment will be announced on September 24, 2024. The link to check the seat allotment result will be updated at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The last date to be able to download the BCECE 2024 round 2 seat allotment letters is September 27, 2024. Cadiadtes should report for admission and document verification from September 25 to 27, 2024.  The authority is conducting the BCECE 2024 counselling in online mode.

The revised date for the provisional seat allotment of BCECE 2024 was September 13, 2024.The authority released the BCECE 2024 revised seat matrix on September 9, 2024. The BCECE registration & choice filling 2024 was conducted from September 10 to 11, 2024.

The authority announced the BCECE 2024 rank card on August 3, 2024. The authority has updated the BCECE rank card link on the official website. Applicants can check their BCECE 2024 results through their roll number and date of birth. The authority conducted the BCECE 2024 exam on July 13 and 14. BCECE admit card 2024 was released on June 28. The registered candidates could download the admit card of BCECE 2024 through the candidate's login. Candidates could edit the application form for BCECE 2024 from June 2 to 3. BCECE registration 2024 concluded on May 30.

What is BCECE?

BCECE is the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination for B.Tech admission in the engineering institutes of Bihar. BCECE was conducted for the vacant seats after two rounds of counselling based on JEE Main. Admissions thereafter will be based on the ranks obtained in BCECE. The exam-conducting body offers specific combinations of physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and agriculture for the BCECE exam. Students must choose a minimum of three subjects.

BCECEB has provided the BCECE 2024 eligibility criteria in the prospectus. All applicants must check the BCECE eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The eligibility criteria include minimum conditions that candidates must fulfil to apply for the BCECE exam. Candidates who fail to meet the BCECE eligibility criteria will be disqualified from the admission process. Students can check the eligibility criteria of BCECE 2024 below.

BCECEB closed the portal for BCECE form correction. The registered candidates could edit the details in the BCECE application form 2024 from June 2 to 3. BCECE registration concluded on May 30. The application form of BCECE 2024 was available on the website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Eligible candidates can submit the BCECE application form online. Applicants had to provide all the necessary details while filling out the BCECE application form 2024. Candidates have to upload all the documents successfully and submit the BCECE application form. All the information provided by the candidates should be valid.

Steps to Fill BCECE 2024 Application Form

Candidates applying for BCECE 2024 are advised to go through the following steps while filling out their application form of BCECE 2024.

STEP 1 - Registration: First, candidates have to register themselves for the admission process. To register online, candidates will be required to submit their personal and contact details. After the successful registration, the registration number will be provided to the candidates which will be used for all future purposes.

STEP 2 - Login: After the registration process is completed, candidates must log in to the admission portal using the registration number and password.

STEP 3- Filling the Application Form: The candidates after successfully logging will be required to fill in all the necessary details required in the application form such as personal details, academic details, address of communication, etc.

  • Personal details such as Parent’s name, identification mark (if any), gender, parent's annual income,  address of communication, etc.

STEP 4- Documents: Candidates will be required to upload the required documents in the prescribed formats. Students must keep the scanned images of their recent photograph and signature ready. Candidates must ensure that their name and the date when the photograph was clicked are mentioned on the photograph. The signature must be in either blue or black ink. The signature must be provided in both English & Hindi. Applicants will be required to upload three images- one of a photograph and the other two of signatures in both English & Hindi.

STEP 5- Academic Details: After uploading the required documents, candidates have to enter the academic details in the application form. Candidates will be required to fill in their Class 10th & Class 12th college name, year of passing, board and passing status. Thereafter, the candidates should save and submit the form.

STEP 6- Preview the Application Form: Candidates must carefully check all the details in the preview section of the application form before submitting it. If the candidates find any sort of mistake in the application, they will be able to edit. After correcting all the details, candidates can save the application form.

STEP 7- Payment of Fees: After completing the application form of BCECE 2024, candidates will be redirected to the payment page. The application fee of BCECE 2024 will vary depending on the categories. The application fee for different categories is given in the table below. Payment of fees can be done in both online and offline mode. The candidates can make the payment online through Credit/Debit Card/Net Baking or offline mode through NEFT challan for which they need to download the form and make the payment by visiting the bank.

STEP 8- Download Part A & B of BCECE Application Form: Candidates will be required to download both parts A & B of the application form for future use. The form is not required to be submitted to the admission authority by the candidates.

Below are some of the preparation tips for the candidates appearing for the BCECE 2024 exam:

  • Study Material: The study material should be given the first priority before starting with the preparation of the examination. Candidates must arrange all the notes, books and other study material well in advance so that they are able to start early and finish early and thereafter can dedicate ample time for the revision.
  • Time Management: Time management is very much required while preparing for any examination be it the Boards or Entrance Examination. Time once gone will never come back. BCECEB issued the BCECE 2024 admit card on June 28. The link to download the BCECE admit card 2024 was updated on the official website. Registered candidates can download the BCECE admit card 2024 using valid login credentials. In case of any discrepancies on the admit card, candidates must contact the admission authority immediately. The BCECE 2024 admit card is a mandatory document required to appear for the exam. Candidates had to put their signature on the admit card in the presence of the invigilator.

The authorities will release the BCECE 2024 answer key on the official website. The BCECE answer key pdf will comprise of the correct answers to the questions in the BCECE 2024 examination. With the help of BCECE answer key 2024, candidates can calculate their probable marks in the examination. Students must check the official marking scheme to calculate their expected marks before the results are declared. The authority announced the BCECE 2024 rank card on August 3, 2024. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can check their results of BCECE 2024 in an online mode only. The authorities have prepared a merit list based on the marks obtained in BCECE. The merit list includes the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for BCECE 2024. The candidates can access their results in the form of PDF format. Candidates must download their BCECE rank card 2024 by logging in using their roll number and date of birth. The result declared by BCECEB will be final. The authorities will not entertain any requests for rechecking or revaluation of the BCECE 2024 results. Qualified candidates will then be required to report for the counselling process as per the given schedule.

BCECE cutoff is the minimum score required for admissions in B.Tech degree programmes at the participating institutes of BCECE 2024. Candidates who secure marks above the BCECE 2024 cutoff will have higher chances of getting admission at their preferred institute. Various factors such as availability of seats, difficulty level of the exam and the number of applicants will be kept in mind before preparing the BCECE cutoff 2024.

BCECEB has announced the BCECE 2024 revised dates on the official website. The revised BCECE 2024 round 2 seat allotment date is September 24, 2024. The last date for candidates to download their seat allotment letters is September 27, 2024. The authority will conduct the admission and document verification from September 25 to 27, 2024.

The authority announced the BCECE 2024 round 1 provisional seat allotment on September 13, 2024. The authority has postponed the BCECE 2024 round 1 provisional seat allotment result. The BCECE round 1 counselling registration was conducted from September 10 to 11, 2024 according to the revised schedule. 

During the BCECE 2024 counselling, candidates will in their choice of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. The candidates will be allotted the seat based on their merit list, preferred choices and availability of seats in the institute. After the choice filling and registration, candidates will be allotted the seat which will be available in their online portal. The downloaded Provisional Allotment Letter has to be submitted at the reporting centres along with the fees. The candidates must visit the reporting venue for document verification as per the time and date mentioned on the Allotment Letter.
