Every year, the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) holds a national-level Joint Entrance Examination (JET) for the purpose of admitting students to the institute's various programmes. The FTII selects the candidates for admission to their different PG TV and Film Wings programmes using this exam. Candidates who pass this exam will be admitted to courses in direction and screenplay writing, cinematography, editing, and other related fields.
