Karnataka PGCET 2025 - Method of Inter-Se Merit

There may be chances that two or more candidates obtain the same scores/marks in the entrance test. To prepare the cutoff of KEA PGCET, the exam authorities will follow the method of inter-se merit of Karnataka PGCET 2025. Inter-se merit will be decided by using the rules below.

  • Candidates who have obtained higher aggregate marks in the qualifying exam will be placed higher.

  • If the tie is not broken, then an older candidate will be preferred.

Karnataka PGCET Result 2025 - Snippets

  • KEA will declare the KEA PGCET result 2025 in online mode. Candidates who appeared for the entrance can check their marks obtained. The Karnataka PGCET result displays ranks and marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.

  • KEA will release the result for the Karnataka PGCET exam in the form of a scorecard.

  • A Separate merit list is issued for the candidates who are applying through Karnataka PGCET 2025 and GATE 2025 respectively.

Eligible candidates will have to report to the venue of the counselling for the Karnataka PGCET 2025 document verification process in person. Candidates must check the list of documents required for PGCET 2025 verification while appearing for the counselling, candidates will have to provide all the necessary original documents along with a set of photocopies for the verification of the documents.

During the Karnataka PGCET 2025 counselling process, candidates will have to register and choose their preferred choice of course and college. Based on the preferred choices, marks/ranks obtained in the entrance test, and seat availability, candidates will be offered admission. Later, they will have to report to the allotted centre to confirm their admission.

EWS certificate,which is provided by Andhra Pradesh is accepted by Karnataka PGCET or Not ?

No, the EWS certificate from Andhra Pradesh is not accepted for reservation in Karnataka PGCET. Only Karnataka-domicile candidates are eligible for EWS benefits. You can still apply under the General Merit category.
