Institute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Exam (IEMJEE)

IEMJEE 2023: Institute of Engineering & Management group has extended the IEMJEE exam last date till August 4, 2023. The authorities have already released the IEMJEE 2023 hall ticket online. The IEMJEE admit card 2023 is available at iemjee.uem.edu.in. Aspirants can access the admit card of IEMJEE 2023 by providing the candidate's full name and guardian's contact email. 

IEMJEE 2023 admit card is available for the candidates who have submitted the registration form for IEMJEE 2023. After accessing the IEMJEE hall ticket 2023 take the print of the hall ticket. Candidates have to appear for the IEEMJEE exam from their homes. The authorities are conducting the IEMJEE 2023 exam from February 06 to July 14, 2023 in three shifts.

The full form of IEMJEE is the Insitute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Exam. IEM group conducts the IEMJEE for admission to B.Tech / BCA / BBA / MCA / BSc / BCom / BPT / M.Tech / M.Sc / MBA courses offered at IEM (Institute of Engineering & Management) Group and UEM (University of Engineering and Management). IEMJEE is a free online test. Moreover, admission to B.Tech courses is also done on the basis of WBJEE / JEE Main / JELET.

Before filling the IEMJEE application form 2023 candidates had to complete the registration process. Candidates can register for IEMJEE 2023 using their name, email, and phone number. Admission to IEM is based on IEMJEEE. Moreover, the ranks of various state and national level examinations are also considered for admission. The courses offered in IEM are B. • B.Tech - Other than IEMJEE, the selection of candidates for B.Tech is done through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and JEE Main.

• M.Tech - For admission to the M.Tech course, IEM accepts the rank of PGET. Candidates with valid ranks shall be eligible to participate in the counselling process. 

• BCA / BBA / M.Sc Computer Science - To get admission to the following courses, candidates have to take CET organized by MAKAUT. 

• MCA - Candidates need to appear for WB JECA conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Board (WBJEEB). Qualifying students have to appear for the WB JECA counselling and select IEM Kolkata as their preference.

Candidates who wish to apply for IEMJEE 2023 have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of IEMJEE 2023. Aspirants can check the IEMJEE 2023 eligibility criteria online on the official website. If the candidates fail to fulfill the eligibility condition of IEMJEE 2023 then their candidature shall get canceled. Below are the IEMJEE 2023 eligibility criteria.

Eligibility criteria for IEMJEE:

• For UG (B.Tech): Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (45% for SC, ST & PWD students) & overall minimum aggregate of 50% (45%  for SC, ST & PWD students)

• For PG (M.Tech): Candidates must have passed 10+2+3 from a recognized University with 60% marks in Mathematics during Graduation (45% for SC, ST & PWD students) & and an overall minimum aggregate of 50% (45%  for SC, ST)

Mode of Application : Online

IEMJEE 2023 application is available online. Candidates must submit the application form of IEMJEE 2023 before the last date. No application will be accepted after the last date. Moreover, the candidates who submit the IEMJEE application form will be able to download the IEMJEE hall ticket 2023. • Register: Before filling the IEMJEE 2023 registration form candidates have to register online. While registering candidates have to provide their name, email, and phone number. Candidates should provide a valid email id and phone number. After the completion of registration candidates will be directed to the registration form.

• Course Selection: Select the course your appearing for.

• Personal Information: Enter your name, date of birth, select gender, and enter your address.

• Parent / Guardian Name: Enter your father / mother name or the local guardian's. 

• Foreign Student: Select yes if your are a foreign student else no.

• Exam: Provide your 10th exam details like exam name, board name, year of pass out, aggregate marks, and school name. Moreover, candidates provide the 12th and graduation exam details if they wish. It is not mandatory.

• Contact: Candidates have to provide the guardian's email and contact phone.

• Venue / Date: In this step select the mode of examination, date, shift, and select the venue as home.

• Hall Ticket: Upload the photo and signature and finally submit the form. A hall ticket link will appear. Enter the full student and guardian email to download the hall ticket.

Candidates who are willing to appear for the IEMJEE 2023 exam should have an effective preparation strategy that may help them to crack the entrance exam. Below are a few preparation tips for the IEMJEE exam 2023. 

• Know the syllabus for the exam that you are appearing for. Then make a note of the topics that you have to study as per the syllabus. 

• After knowing the syllabus make a timetable and stick to it. Distribute an equal amount of time for all the topics that you have to study. Moreover, find try to focus more on the topics that you find difficult.

• Make a note of what you are studying. It will be helpful while quick revision. Moreover, make a handy note of mathematical formulas.

The exam pattern of IEMJEE 2023 differs from course to course. The IEMJEE exam will be held in online mode. The question paper of IEMJEE 2023 will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs). B.Tech exam pattern

IEMJEE B.Tech exam is held for 2 hours. There will be 90 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). B.Tech question paper has sections on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each question carries 4 marks. There shall be negative markings for the wrong answer.

IEMJEE B.Tech Lateral Entry

B.Tech lateral entry exam will be held for 2 hours in computer-based test (CBT) mode. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The question paper will be divided into two categories 1 and 2. IEMJEE B.Tech lateral entry exam is held for 120 marks. There shall be a negative marking for the wrong attempt.

M.Tech exam pattern

The exam will be held in online mode for 2 hours. IEMJEE M.Tech question papers are based on general aptitude and subject selected by the candidates. The exam will be held for 100 marks. There shall be 65 questions for 100 marks. Negative marking will be done for the wrong attempt.

Mode of Counselling: Offline

The authorities conducts the IEMJEE counselling after the declaration of the result of IEMJEE 2023. Candidates who qualify in the IEMJEE 2023 exam shall be eligible to participate in IEMJEE counselling process. Moreover, candidates with valid WBJEE / JEE Main / JELET scores can also appear for the IEMJEE counselling. In the counseling process, candidates have to fill the choice of course of their interest. The allotment result will be released online. After the release of allotment candidates have to carry the necessary document and report to the IEM admission office. Moreover, the candidates who got the allotment through WBJEE / JEE Main / JELET only can fill up the admission form for B.Tech online.
