PESSAT Counselling 2019 - PES University has concluded the second round counselling of PESSAT 2019 in offline mode for the qualified candidates of the entrance exam. PESSAT counselling 2019 was conducted in two rounds according to the ranks of the candidates, in which, those having ranks above 8500 will be invited for round 2. The round 1 of counselling was conducted on June 1 & 2 and round 2 was conducted on July 6 & 7, 2019 respectively. To participate in PESSAT 2019 counselling, candidates will have to register first, followed by the selection of seats. Since the counselling procedure was in offline mode and would be at the campus, candidates advised being patient. The seats will be allotted under PESSAT counselling 2019 on the basis of candidates’ ranks in PESSAT, choice filling and availability of seats. PESSAT Counselling 2019 Eligibility
To be able to participate in counselling, apart from qualifying in PESSAT 2019 exam and registration, candidates have to upload their 10+2/ 2nd PUC scores or equivalent exam scores as soon as they receive their results for it.
Candidates need to have an aggregate of 60% in their 10+2 or equivalent exam having PCM as subjects.
At the counselling venue, candidates will have to necessarily produce certain documents; without it, they won’t be allowed to be a part of the process.
Documents to be carried to PESSAT 2019 counselling
2 separate Demand Drafts (DDs) for Rs 3,20,000 and Rs 10,000 drawn in favour of PES UNIVERSITY GENERAL FUND payable at Bangalore. Payment through any other mode will not be accepted. Also, for the registration process to be complete, candidates will have to produce the DDs.

PESSAT Counselling Procedure 2019
The counselling process of PESSAT 2019 includes the following steps:
Step 1 – Reporting to the institute allotted :
Candidates will have to report to the institute allotted at the time specified for counselling purpose.
Step 2 - Registration :
After reporting, candidates will be required to register for PESSAT 2019 counselling by using their registration number and date of birth.
Following it, they will have to select seats on the basis of their preference.
To complete the registration process, candidates will have to produce the required DDs. Since, without DDs, the seat selection will not be allowed.
The authorities will collect DD’s from the candidate only if he or she avails a seat in the seat selection process.
If he or she rejects the seat or chooses to attend round 2 of PESSAT counselling 2019, then he or she can take back both the DD’s with them.
Step 3 – Seat taking process :
Here, candidates will be required to either accept or reject the seats allotted to them. While accepting/ rejecting seats, they need to follow the options given below:
Option A: Take the seat allotted, submit both the DDs, all the original documents and complete the admission process.
Option B: Take the allotted seat, submit both the DDs along with attested copies of all original documents. The seat will be cancelled if original documents will not be submitted. This is provisional admission process.
Option C: Reject the allotted seat as the desired seat is not available or for any other reasons.
Option D: Reject the allotted seat and choose to attend round 2 of counselling.
Salient features of PESSAT counselling 2019
Candidates will have to be present for counselling at the time and venue prescribed.
In case, if a candidate is not able to attend counselling due to unavoidable circumstances, then an authorization letter will have to be downloaded from the website and have to be filled and submitted into the campus before the counselling procedure starts and with prior approval for it.
One of the parents or guardians can represent the candidate in PESSAT counselling with an approved authorization letter. Without prior approval, the authorization letter will not be considered valid.
Candidates will have to come to Bangalore to attend counselling. They cannot participate in counselling from their hometown.
If a candidate fails to attend counselling on the specified day, then he or she can attend it on the next day which is earmarked for candidates having lower ranks.
Instructions for Round 2 PESSAT 2019 counselling (CET/ COMEDK Candidates Only)
CET/ COMEDK candidates can compete by registering for Casual Vacancy admissions to PES University during round 2 of counselling.
Those candidates who have appeared in both KCET and COMEDK entrance exams can enter both the scores in the registration form and the score that will advantage the candidate will be taken into consideration. If a candidate has taken only KCET or only COMEDK, then he/ she can enter only that score.
PES University will release a list of selected candidates from the applications received and inform about further admissions process to the selected candidates.
The seat these candidates will be competing will be for a casual vacancy seat under PESSAT quota and the fee will be Rs. 3,20,000 per annum.
