PESSAT Counselling 2020 - PES University will be conducting PESSAT 2020 counseling in offline mode for all eligible candidates. The counselling of PESSAT 2020 will commence from May 30. Two rounds of counselling will be conducted by the authorities and the candidates will be called in according to their secured ranks. Firstly, the candidates will have to report to the specified PESSAT 2020 counselling venue as per the allotted timings and register. Selection of courses as per preference also has to be done. During the counselling of PESSAT 2020, the candidates will be allotted seats as per their rank, preferences and availability of seats. After allotment, the candidates will be given four options which will determine whether they accept their PESSAT admission or not. Apart from qualifying PESSAT 2020, the candidates will also be required to meet some extra criteria prescribed by the authorities. Candidates will have to upload their 10+2/2nd PUC scores or equivalent exam scores as soon their corresponding result is declared.
Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM of 10+2th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination has to be secured by the candidates.
If the required documents are not presented at the counselling venue, then the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the procedure.
PES University will conduct counselling of PESSAT 2020 in offline mode. Firstly, all of the candidates will have to report to the venue according to the respective timings specified by the authorities. Registration for the counselling process has to be done by the candidates by using their registration number and date of birth. During PESSAT counselling 2020, the candidates will have to select their choice of course as per the order of preference. Candidates are advised to choose as many choices as possible to maximize their chances of admission.
The demand drafts have to produced after the registration process is completed. Without the demand drafts, the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the seat allotment process. However, the demand drafts will be collected by the authorities only if the candidate is allotted a seat. If the candidate rejects the allotted seat or wishes to participate in the second round of counselling, then he/she can take back the demand drafts.
Allotment of seats will be done as per the rank, preferences of the candidates and availability of seats. The allotted candidates will have to choose their option from the four given below:
Option A - This option has to be selected if the candidate is satisfied with his/her allotted seat. After selecting this option, the candidates will have to submit the demand draft and original documents to complete the admission process.
Option B - This option has to be selected if the candidates want to confirm their admission but do not have the original documents. Demand drafts and attested copies of original documents will have to be submitted. The admission is provisional and can be cancelled if the original documents are not submitted.
Option C - If the candidates want to reject the allotted seat for some reason.
Option D - If the candidates want to reject the allotted seat and participate in the second round of counselling.

Two separate Demand Drafts (DDs) for Rs 3,20,000 and Rs 10,000 drawn in favour of PES UNIVERSITY GENERAL FUND payable at Bangalore.
PESSAT 2020 Admit Card and Rank Card
10+2 or equivalent exam (PUC) marks (if not original, provisional marks card with the original signature of the college authority to be produced for verification)
Class 10th marks card (SSLC)/ Birth Certificate
Transfer Certificate/ College Leaving Certificate (if applicable)
Migration Certificate (If other than PU Board) (if applicable)
Passport & Stamp Size Photos 4 Copies each of both
All of the candidates will have to be physically present for the counselling of PESSAT 2020 at the specified venue and timings.
PESSAT 2020 counselling will be held only in Bangalore.
If due to unavoidable circumstances, a candidate is unable to attend the counselling session, then he/she can download the authorization letter and submit it.
During counselling, one of the parents or guardians will be allowed to represent the candidate if an approved authorization letter is with them. The authorization letter will not be considered valid without prior approval.
If a candidate is unable to attend the counselling process on the specified date, then he/she can come on the next date and participate.
During the second round counselling of PESSAT 2020, KCET/COMEDK qualified candidates will be able to apply for admissions by registering for Casual Vacancy admissions. Candidates will have to enter their KCET or COMEDK UGET score to participate in the counselling session. If the candidate has attempted both the exams, then both the scores has to be submitted and the more advantageous score will be taken into consideration by the authorities. Among the registered candidates, the list of selected ones for the counselling process will be released by the authorities. Admissions will be done for casual vacancy seat under PESSAT quota.

Well if you are confident that you will get seat into your desired institute with KCET than no need of writing COMEDK but there is a n alternate chance since the cutoff for comedk is high and getting a seat through COMEDK quota is easy but the on;y disadvantage iis you will need to pay twice the amount which you you have been paying for KCET.
Getting good colleges KCET is little difficult since there is aggregation of boards+KCET marks. so that why the cutoffs are also in 1000 for good colleges
but in COMEDK the rank is dependent on COMEDK marks only!!

Admission to B.Des in PES university is done on the basis of PESSAT or UCEED marks. Candidates having valid score UCEED are exempted from PESSAT but need to register for PESSAT.
