Synopsis of JEXPO 2019 exam pattern
The test had two papers – Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics and Chemistry)
Both papers were MCQs-based.
Each paper was of 100 marks
The test was pen-and-paper based
Candidates were provided with OMR answer sheets, where responses had to be entered by darkening circles using a black/blue ball-point pen.
Exam conducting authorities followed the revised syllabus of Class X under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) for drafting questions for the entrance exam. It was important that all candidates were familiar with the topics covered in each subject if they wanted to perform well in the entrance exam. It was because it was unlikely that questions would be asked outside the JEXPO 2019 syllabus.
