AP PGECET Counselling 2025
The exam authorities are conducting the AP PGECET counselling for qualified candidates of both AP PGECET 2025 and GATE/ GPAT. The AP PGECET 2025 counselling will be conducted in online mode on the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/pgecet. The seat allotment of AP PGECET 2025 is done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
AP PGECET 2025 Counselling Procedures
Step 1: AP PGECET Registration & Fee payment - Candidates have to log in to their accounts using the hall ticket number and rank. After successful AP PGECET login, the candidate has to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.600 for SC/ST) in online mode. The transaction ID should be kept safe for future use.
Step - 2: Reporting at centres - After successful fee payment, candidates have to report at the document verification centres. The rank card of AP PGECET 2025 has to be provided to the exam authorities. Based on the AP PGECET rank 2025, the candidates will be invited and have to show their processing fee payment receipt or transaction ID. They also need to provide their mobile number and Aadhaar card number.
Step - 3: Document Verification - Candidates will have to get the following documents verified:
Hall ticket of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2025.
Rank Card of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2025.
SSC, Intermediate, Diploma/Degree Marks Sheet.
Study Certificate from Class 10th to Graduation.
Integrated Community Certificate for BC/SC/ST candidates.
Residence certificate (father or mother) for 10 years in Andhra Pradesh, excluding the period of their employment outside.
Residence certificate for the preceding 7 years from the qualifying exam i.e. Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalised education (Aadhar card/ Household card).
Transfer Certificate.
Income Certificate (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption)/ Household card (white)/ Ration Card.

NOTE: After document verification, a receipt will be generated. Keep it safe for future reference. Candidates will also receive a login ID for the registered mobile number.
Step - 4: Choice Filling - Candidates will have to generate a login ID and password using the registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth. After logging, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates, using which they will be able to fill out their preferred college/institute and courses. Candidates are advised to choose as many options as possible to increase their chances of admission.
Step - 5: Seat Allotment - The last step will be the AP PGECET seat allotment process. The exam authorities allocate the seats to the candidates based on merit, availability of seats, and preferred filled choices. Candidates will have to download the AP PGECET seat allotment letter and report through a self-reporting system. They will also have to report at the allotted colleges/institutes which will lead to the cancellation of seats.
