In case of two or more candidates who obtained equal NTA scores in paper 2, the authorities have provided a particular manner in which the tie is resolved as mentioned below in the sequence to be followed:
The determination of JEE Main Paper 2 results involves a systematic tie-breaker process to ensure accurate and equitable ranking in cases of score ties. The following criteria are employed for resolving tie-breaks:
For the specialised B.Planning category, the tie-breaker criteria include NTA scores in Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Planning-based Questions, along with consideration for negative responses and age. Similarly, for the B.Arch category, NTA scores in Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Tests, along with negative responses and age, are used to establish rankings. These tie-breaker rules ensure a fair and transparent ranking process for JEE Main Paper 2 candidates across different categories.
The JEE Main 2024 Rank List for B.Arch. and B.Plan. is a critical component of the examination outcome, determining the positions and preferences of candidates who have appeared for these specific categories. The ranking process takes into account various factors, including subject-wise NTA scores, tie-breaker criteria, and candidate preferences.
For B.Arch., the NTA scores in Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test, along with tie-breaker rules, play a pivotal role in establishing the rank list. Similarly, for B.Plan, the NTA scores in Mathematics, Aptitude Tests, and Planning-based Questions, along with tie-breaker criteria, contribute to the ranking process.
The rank list not only reflects a candidate's performance but also aids in decision-making for college admissions. The transparency and fairness of this ranking system ensure that each candidate's efforts are accurately represented. Ultimately, the JEE Main 2024 Rank List for B.Arch. and B.Plan. serves as a comprehensive tool for both candidates and institutions in shaping academic journeys and future opportunities.
Candidates who score 100 percentile in the JEE Main exam will be considered toppers. The authority has announced the JEE Main 2024 toppers list for paper 2 along with the result. As the JEE Main exam 2024 for all attempts will be conducted in multiple sessions (4-5 days in morning and evening sessions), the difficulty level will also vary for these sessions. Thus, to deal with this, the National Testing Agency normalizes the score obtained by candidates in the result of JEE Main 2024 paper 2.
The normalized scores of both sessions will be considered by the authorities for those who appeared in both exams, while the single score will be considered for those who appeared in either the January or April session, and thus, the JEE Main 2024 rank list will be prepared and released by NTA.
JoSAA will conduct the JEE Main counselling and seat allotment in online mode. Candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam will be able to participate in the JoSAA counselling process. The authorities will initially conduct two mock rounds followed by seven final rounds of counselling. Candidates participating in the counselling process have to complete the registration and choice filling. The allotment of seats shall take place based on JEE Main ranks 2024, preferences, category, and availability of seats in the participating NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs respectively.
The JEE Mains 2024 paper 2 results will be released after the conclusion of the exam at the official website.
Candidates can check their JEE Main result for paper 2 through the direct link provided at the top of the page by entering their application number and date of birth.
Yes, Candidates will be able to check their JEE Main ranks along with the result.
As the JEE Main paper 2 exam will be conducted on a single day in two sessions, the best normalized NTA score obtained between the first and second session will be taken into consideration by the authorities for rank calculation.
Firstly, normalization of the raw scores obtained by the candidates will be done by the authorities. The scores will be considered to calculate the rank. The best of the two NTA scores will be taken into consideration if the candidates have attempted both sessions.

The flight attendant job description includes ensuring passenger safety during flights by adhering to safety regulations. Individual pursuing career as flight attendant is also tasked with serving meals and drinks to passengers, but this is mostly a secondary responsibility. A flight attendant is employed by airlines and most of them work on commercial flights, although there is also a market for a private flight attendant (e.g. private charter planes or jets).
Depending on the size of the plane, international safety regulations demand a certain number of Flight Attendants to be on board the aircraft. The standard rule is that there should be one Flight Attendant for every 50 passengers.
Aerospace engineering jobs deal with employees who design or build missiles and aircraft for national defense, or spacecraft. Aeronautical and astronautical engineering are two major branches of aerospace engineering. Aerospace engineering or aircraft engineering is often referred to as rocket science. The bottom line is that the person who is pursuing a career in aerospace engineering has to deal with multiple teams at different levels and work across various technologies.
A career in the aviation industry always sounds exciting. But, there is no scope for the slightest error as it may cost the lives of many people. A Flight Engineer role comes with the responsibility of monitoring the aircraft engine and control systems while in flight. Whenever the aircraft is away from the home station, he or she is required to perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
An aircrew officer or airline commanders fly aircraft to provide transportation to passengers or cargo. The aircrew officer operates the engines of aircraft and controls to navigate and fly the airplane.
