About JEXPO 2022

JEXPO 2022 : The West Bengal State Council of Technical Vocational Education and Skill Development will release the JEXPO application form 2022 on the official website tentatively in May. The application form of JEXPO 2022 will be made available in both online and offline mode. Candidates who have passed the secondary examination with minimum 35% marks in aggregate or are appearing in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for JEXPO 2022 exam.

Candidates applying for JEXPO 2022 need to first ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The admit card of JEXPO 2022 will be released on the official website a few days before the entrance exam. Students will have to mandatorily download and take a print of the JEXPO admit card 2022 to carry it to the exam centre. No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre without a hall ticket.

The JEXPO 2022 test will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will be held for two hours and will have 100 questions, 25 each from Physics and Chemistry and 50 from Mathematics. Moreover, around 19,000 seats will be offered through the JEXPO 2022 exam, excluding management quota seats.

Candidates who will appear in the entrance exam will be able to download the JEXPO scorecard 2022 from the official website. The scorecard will contain the details regarding the marks obtained by students in the JEXPO 2022 exam. Qualified aspirants will then have to participate in the JEXPO 2022 counselling process for seat allocation.


The West Bengal State Council of Technical Vocational Education and Skill Development conducts JEXPO for admission to various diploma courses offered by polytechnic institutes in the state of West Bengal, including engineering and technology. Candidates who qualify for the JEXPO 2022 will be eligible for admission. The allotment of seats will be through online counselling.

JEXPO 2022 Eligibility Criteria

It is important that candidates go through the eligibility criteria of JEXPO 2022 before they start preparing for the exam. The JEXPO eligibility criteria 2022 will include the conditions and requirements that needs to be met by every applicant. Students who don’t meet the prescribed eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission even if they qualify for the exam.

So, it will be a loss of valuable time and effort on the part of the candidate. Among the important eligibility criteria that the candidate is required to fulfill include that nationality, qualifying exam, minimum marks, subject combination, and age limit.

Eligibility criteria of JEXPO 2022

  • Nationality – Indian nationals are eligible to apply

  • Qualifying exam – The candidate needs to have passed the Class 10 exam conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in English, Physical Science/Science, and Mathematics, among others.

  • Age limit – The candidate must be born no earlier than July 1, 2007.

The official authorities will  release the application form of JEXPO 2022 on the official website. To fill the application form online, the candidates simply have to go to the online application portal and start the application process right away. The application process will require aspirants to fill and submit certain basic details. The application process is described briefly below.

Procedure to fill Online Application form of JEXPO 2022

  • Registration – Candidates have to register online using their email id and mobile number.

  • Filling of application form – In this step, the candidate have to fill different sections of the application form, like personal, academic and contact details.

  • Uploading of documents – When uploading scanned images of photograph and signature, care has to be taken that they are in the prescribed format.

  • Payment of application: The application fee for male candidates applying through online mode is Rs. 450; fee for female candidates is Rs. 225.

  • Submission of application form : Just check that the application form is complete in all respects before submitting it.

JEXPO 2022 Exam Pattern

In order to crack the JEXPO exam 2022, it is important for the candidates to understand the pattern of the paper beforehand. This will help them to know the important details such as the type of questions, mode of exam, number of questions and more and prepare for the exam accordingly.   • The exam will be conducted in either offline (pen-paper-based) mode or online mode.

  • Answers have to be entered on OMR answer sheets by darkening circles using black/blue ball-point pen.

  • The duration of the paper will be 2 hours.

  • Question type will be multiple choice.

All the registered applicants will be able to download the admit card of JEXPO 2022 from the official website. The JEXPO 2022 admit card will be made available in online mode only and will not be sent by post or any other means to the individual candidates. On the day of the exam, candidates will have to carry along the admit card and also a valid and original photo ID. Without these documents, the candidate will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

The JEXPO admit card would carry important information like the name of the candidate, roll and application number, date and time of the exam, and also exam centre details. It must be noted that the admit card will be required even after the exam is over, for example at the time of counselling, so one mustn’t lose or damage it until at least the admission process is over.

JEXPO 2022 Answer Key

Exam conducting authorities release the answer key of JEXPO a week or so after completion of the exam. The JEXPO 2022 answer keys will be available for all the four question sets - A, B, C and D. JEXPO 2022 answer key will contain the correct answers to questions in each set, so candidates will be able to compare their answers and calculate probable scores.

Also, various coaching institutes will come up with unofficial answers keys of JEXPO before the release of the official version. But candidates must note that the final authority on the correct answers will be the official version only.

Candidates will be able to check their merit rank through JEXPO 2022 merit list using the valid credentials. Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline

The counselling of JEXPO 2022 will be conducted for all aspirants who will qualify the entrance exam. Candidates will have to get themselves registered for JEXPO counselling within the specified dates. Around 19,000 self-finance diploma seats are offered through the JEXPO 2022 counselling process, not including management quota seats. Online counselling will be open to valid rank holders only, who  registers for counselling and participate in the choice filling. There are around 565 choices to pick from; please note here choice is a combination of institute and branch.

It is recommended that candidates pick as many choices – in the order of priority – to maximize their chances of admission. The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidates and also choices filled by them. Meanwhile, the special offline counselling will be open to only those candidates who haven’t been offered a seat in any of the online rounds.

JEXPO dates for the year 2022 are yet to be released. Though for your help, I have provided you with the tentative dates when you can expect the registration and exam dates:

My jexpo rank is 9593 thats why i should get a govt college but i also admission in bcs in computer science honourse so is this decision is right that i keep out my honourse seat and study start in diploma?

Its completely your decision in which way you have more interest.  As per practical parts of view it is  quite good decision. Because you if you do honers you get graduate degree and there is hope that you can get job. But if you do diploma the degree is diploma but you can earn practical know and also there are is a point were  college arrange placement so you can get a job . Or you can also apply for job too. If you need a graduate degree after diploma you can give jelet through jelet you can continue your study in distance and also continue your job.

If someone is from outside, will he/she need a migration form for addmision?

Migration certificate is required to confirm your qualification for graduate degree courses after HSC Examination, for taking admission is any college across India no certificate apart from the general documents is required. Domicile might be needed if there exists a certain concession for students from a particular state. the general documents include:

  • 10th certificate
  • 12th certiifcate
  • Score card of the qualifying exam
  • TC
  • Migration
  • Identity proof
