MU OET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2018: Candidates will be able to register themselves for MU OET 2018 counselling and seat allotment tentatively in the first week of June 2018. All candidates will be required to fill their preferred choices and pay the counselling fees to be registered for the counselling of MU OET 2018. The first, second, third, fourth and fifth round of MU OET 2018 seat allotment will be online. Candidates will be allotted seats in the counselling of MU OET 2018 based on their ranks and preference of courses and colleges. Intra-sliding and spot round allotment will also be done if vacant sets are available after the five rounds of MU OET 2018 seat allotment. MU OET 2018 Counselling Venue
For the first round of counselling, the candidates will have to select their preferred choice of counselling venue. During registration, the candidates will have to fill in their selected counselling venue from those given in the table below:

Procedure of MU OET 2018 Counselling
All of the candidates who appear and qualify MU OET 2018 examination will be able to register themselves for the counselling session. However, before registration, the candidates will have to upload the following documents in the counselling portal which will be open tentatively from the third week of May 2018.
10th Standard Mark Sheet (For Date of Birth Proof)
12th Standard Mark Sheet
Scanned copy of the Aadhaar Card of the Candidate
Scanned copy of the PAN Card of the parent
First Round of MU OET Counselling 2018 – Physical Round
Registration: The candidates will have to register themselves for the physical counselling of MU OET 2018. The registration form will be available at the counter of the counselling venue and the candidates will have to fill it with all of the required information. The preferred choices of colleges and courses have to be submitted in the registration form of MU OET 2018 counselling.
Payment of Counselling Fee: The counselling registration and course fees have to be paid by the candidates. The payment has to be done while the candidates are applying for the counselling process. All of the candidates will have to pay for the counselling session in offline mode i.e., Demand draft drawn in favour of “Manipal Academy of Higher Education” payable at Manipal or Udupi. No other mode of payment will be accepted by the admission authorities.

Verification of Documents: Next, the candidates will have to undergo document verification during MU OET 2018 Counselling. The following documents along with a set of photocopies will have to be submitted for verification:

Demand Draft of the counselling registration fees and course fees.
10th Standard Mark Sheet as Proof of Date of Birth
Conduct/Character Certificate issued by the School/College
Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate issued by the School/College.
Copy of PAN Card of the Parent
Two Recent and Identical Passport Size Photograph and One Stamp Size Photograph
Seat Allotment: According to the ranking in the merit list, the candidates will be allotted seats. Along with the ranking, the preference and availability of seats will also be considered during the allotment process. The list of the allotted candidates will be released in online mode and those candidates will have to report at their respective colleges to confirm their admission.
MU OET 2018 Wait List: Those candidates who have been allotted seats but want to participate in the second round of allotment will have to select the wait list option. This option is also open for those candidates who have registered but were not allotted any seat in the first round. These candidates will be required to pay the registration fees and if they are allotted seats then the paid money will be adjusted during the admission process.
Reporting at Allotted Institutes: Finally, the candidates will have to report at their respective allotted colleges to confirm their admission. The allotment order and receipt for paid fees has to be downloaded by the candidates and produced at the institute.
Second, Third and Fourth Round of MU OET 2018 Seat Allotment
The following candidates will be eligible for the second, third and fourth round of MU OET seat allotment 2018:
Those candidates who have accepted the allotted seat but want to participate in the next round of counselling. Modification of choices can be done by these candidates.
Candidates who have participated in the first round and have opted for wait listing in the next rounds of counselling.
Candidates who were not allotted any seat in the previous rounds of MU OET seat allotment 2018. These candidates will also be able to modify their choices.
Steps to Filling/Modifying Choices
The candidates will be able to fill/modify their choices by logging into their portal using their application ID as login ID and OTBS password). The modification has to be done according to the candidate’s preference and can be done number of times until the choices are locked. Failure to lock the choices within the designated time will automatically lock the last saved choices. No changes can be done after the changes are locked.
Fifth Round of MU OET Seat Allotment 2018
The following candidates will be termed eligible for the fifth round of MU OET seat allotment.
Candidates who are participating in the counselling session for the first time i.e., they have not registered for the previous rounds.
Candidates who have accepted the allotted seat but wish to participate in the next round of counselling. Modification of choices will be allowed.
Registered candidates who were not allotted any seat till the fourth round of counselling session.
Registration Process for New Candidates
The candidates will have to register themselves to participate in the counselling of MU OET 2018.
The candidates will have to log in using their Login ID and OTBS password (which will be generated while booking test slots).
10+2th standard board name and marks will have to be submitted.
Registration fees of Rs. 11,000 will have to be paid through online mode i.e., credit card/debit card or Internet banking.
Selection of preferred colleges and courses have to be done by the candidates.
Print out of the choices filled has to be taken for future reference.
All of the latest updates will be sent to the registered email address of the candidates.
Intra-Institute Sliding (Physical Round)
After the conclusion of the five rounds of counselling, if seats are still available, then the intra-institute sliding will be conducted for those candidates who have already been allotted.
The upgradation will be possible only in the institute where the candidate has joined i.e., there will be no shifting of campus.
Those candidates who have been allotted but have not accepted the seat will not be eligible for this round.
All candidates will have to be physically present at the seat allotment centre of the respective institute on the day of the intra-institute sliding.
Registration for intra-institute sliding will be open at the venue and the candidates will have to submit their preferred choices and lock it.
Allotment of seats will be done according to the candidates choice, MU OET rank and vacancy.
Spot Round Allotment (Physical Round)
All candidates who wish to participate in the spot round seat allotment of MU OET 2018 will have to report physically at the counselling venue. The candidates who will be eligible for the spot round allotment are as follows:
The candidates who have not registered for any previous rounds of MU OET counselling.
Those candidates who were not allotted any seats in the previous rounds of MU OET 2018 counselling.
Candidates who did not pay the course fees after allotment.
Candidates who withdrew from their allotted seats.
Those candidates who have already taken the seat and joined the respective institute. However, these candidates have to vacate the seat before participating in the spot round.
Reporting at the allotted institute has to be done immediately after the seats are allotted to confirm their admission.
Those candidates who will be allotted seats into the Manipal Institute of Technology will have to submit the filled ICICI account opening form at the ICICI bank counter during the counselling session in order to obtain the One-Debit Card facility. The One-Debit Card will act as the identity card of Manipal University, Access Control Card and an ICICI Debit/ATM Card with Zero-Balance facility. If the account opening form is not submitted then the One Debit Card will not be issued for the candidates. Photocopy of any one address proof document (Voter ID/Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License) also has to be submitted by the candidates to open the account.
