Organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering of KIET Ghaziabad, the event brought together eminent industry leaders, innovators, academicians, and participants from 25 institutes across various Indian states. The aim of this conclave was to strengthen the academia–industry interface and accelerate India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047, through sustainable engineering and technological innovation.

The inaugural session was graced by the presence of Shri Atul Garg Ji (Chairman, Governing Board–KIET & TBI–KIET, Member of Parliament, Ghaziabad), Shri Sarish Agarwal Ji (Chairman - KIET), Dr. Manoj Goel (Executive Director), and Dr. Adesh Pandey (Director Academics) along with the Chief Guest Shri Gaurav Bawa (Senior Vice President, India Group, WIKA Group) and the Guests of Honour, viz. Shri Pranay Garg (Managing Director, Advance Valves), Shri Kuldeep Tyagi (Founder & CEO, SARACA Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), Shri I.V. Rao (Distinguished Fellow, The Energy and Resource Institute), and Shri U.D. Bhangale (Executive Director, SAENIS).

The inauguration began with a formal welcome of the guests and dignitaries by Dr. Ashish Karnwal, Dean–Mechanical Engineering. While introducing the event to the audience, he shared, “Synergy 2025 is a platform for connecting academic learning with real-world innovation, fostering an environment where students and professionals collaborate towards sustainable technological solutions.”

Dr. Adesh Kumar Pandey, Director (Academics), emphasised, “Synergy 2025 underlines the importance of nurturing industry-ready engineers who can lead India into a sustainable and technologically advanced future. KIET, as an autonomous institution, has made several initiatives to bridge the gap between academia and industry. We have transformed our curriculum from learner-centric to skill-centric, and we have introduced a basket of electives, in collaboration with different industries, like TATA Power, NSDC etc. These electives are delivered by industry professionals, in the form of adjunct faculty and the professor of practice. 30% of exams conducted at KIET are activity-based to support students with a holistic learning experience.”

Guest of Honour, Shri U.D. Bhangale (Executive Director, SAENIS), in his address, highlighted the growing need for collaboration between academic institutions and industries. He urged students to “focus on multidisciplinary learning and design thinking” to stay relevant in the fast-changing industrial ecosystem.

Shri Gaurav Bawa, Senior Vice President, India Group, WIKA Group, who was present as the Chief Guest for the conclave, addressed the students and shared, “The world does not just need smart engineers, but empathetic leaders, who can connect, collaborate and build. So, when you step into the industry, remember that we need to listen before we lead, we need to collaborate before we start competing, but work together to make those dreams real. It's great to see how the students at KIET are getting practical knowledge and experience, be it in Drone Technology, AI or Automotive Mechatronics.” “We would love to host you at WIKA and share the best practices. Also, we look forward to establishing a centre here for instrumentation, thereby continuing our collaboration with KIET”, he added further.

Hon’ble Shri Atul Garg Ji, Chairman, Governing Board–KIET and MP, Ghaziabad, appreciated the efforts of KIET Group in organising such a meaningful conclave. He said, “Synergy 2025 reflects the true spirit of Viksit Bharat 2047.” He shared that it is very important for the youth to study and work in collaboration with the industry, because when academia, industry, and policy work in unison, India’s growth becomes unstoppable. Furthermore, he also motivated the students to gain knowledge from multiple sources and be involved in multidisciplinary academic disciplines.

The inaugural session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr Vibhav Kumar Sachan, Dean–R&D and Dean-ECE, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organising members for their contributions. The national anthem marked the close of the inaugural ceremony, setting an inspiring tone for the subsequent technical sessions and panel discussions.

The organisers extended sincere gratitude to SAEINDIA Northern Section (SAENIS) for its sponsorship and technical collaboration in making Synergy 2025 a grand success. As a leading professional society promoting automotive engineering and mobility solutions, SAENIS played a pivotal role in supporting the event through its network of experts, technical resources, and industry outreach.

KIET also acknowledged the contribution of its industry sponsors and knowledge partners from sectors such as automation, AI-based design, digital manufacturing, and renewable energy, whose active involvement enhanced the learning experience for students and participants.

On Question asked by student community

Have a question related to KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad (KIET Ghaziabad) ?

Dear student,

Yes, you can use your EWS category rank for admission to KIET Ghaziabad through UPTAC counselling , as seats are allotted based on category ranks for reserved candidates.

Now, about your chances:
With an EWS rank of 1,30,638 , getting ECE at KIET is highly unlikely . In recent years, the closing EWS rank for ECE at KIET has been around 35,000 to 40,000 . If you’ve seen a closing rank like 347,725 , that might actually be the CRL , not the EWS rank. Category cutoffs are always much lower.

KIET Ghaziabad and JIIT Noida are both good private engineering colleges. But JIIT Noida is a little better in terms of placements, especially for Computer Science and IT branches.

JIIT Noida gets more big companies like Amazon, Adobe, and other product-based companies. The average package in JIIT for CSE is around 7 to 8 lakh rupees per year. Some students also get very high packages above 20 lakh. KIET also has good placements, but the average package is slightly lower, around 5 to 6 lakh per year.

The campus of JIIT Noida is modern and clean. KIET has a bigger campus and more hostel space. JIIT is stricter in academics. KIET follows AKTU university syllabus.

So if you want better job placements, JIIT Noida is slightly better. If you want a bigger campus with good facilities and lower fees, then KIET is also a good choice.

You can try:

  • Less competitive branches

  • State counseling (UPTAC) for better chances

Choosing between computer science engineering (cse) at JSS, AKG Or kIET depends upon several factors:

JSS academy of technical education: known for good academic performance and infrastructure and have decent placement records. Average package around rupees 4-6 LPA with companies like TCS, wipro etc. Active campus life with various clubs and activities.

Ajay kumar garg engineering college : praised for its faculty and academic rigor . Strong placement records and industry connection. Average package around  rupees 4-5 LPA with companies like Amazon, infosys etc. Excellent infrastructure with modern labs and libraries. Vibrant campus life.

Krishna institute of engineering and technology: consistently ranked among the top private engineering colleges. Average package around rupees 5-6 LPA , with top recruiters including Microsoft, IBM etc. State of the art infrastructure with all student facilities. Dynamic campus environment with a range of activities.

In my opinion KIET is better because it has a very strong alumni network. But you should take your decision considering other points that I mentioned above as well.
