NIT Trichy JEE Main Cutoff 2024 - JoSAA will release the JEE Main 2024 cutoff for NIT Trichy on the official website, josaa.nic.in. The authority will release the NIT Trichy JEE Main cutoff after each round of JoSAA counselling. NIT Trichy JEE Main 2024 cutoff percentile will be updated here once released by the authorities. The NIT Trichy JEE Main cutoff is the minimum rank in JEE Main and will be available as opening and closing ranks. Admission to NIT Trichy will be based on the JEE Main exam. The following are the factors that will be considered while determining the NIT Trichy JEE Main cutoff.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for preparing and releasing the detailed cutoff for NIT Trichy. The cutoff will be available at their official website
Entrance exam related details such as number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, number of available seats, previous year cutoff trends and more will be taken into consideration by the authorities to prepare the cutoff.
As per JEE Main 2023 cutoff, if the candidates belong to ST category, then they will have higher chances of admission if they secure the cutoff of 1170 (Home State - Male), 23 (Other State - Male), 1170 (Home State -Female), 25 (Other State - Female). This is according to previous year's cutoff.
As per the previous year cutoff, candidate need to secure 8392 (Home State - Male), 3691 (Other State - Male), 9977 (Home State -Female), 5151 (Other State - Female) for higher chances of admission.

With a 69 percentile in JEE Main, it is highly unlikely for your son to secure admission in IIT Bombay. Admission to IITs, including IIT Bombay, is based on the JEE Advanced exam, for which qualification through JEE Main is required. Generally, to qualify for JEE Advanced, candidates need to be in the top 2,50,000 ranks in JEE Main, which typically requires a higher percentile than 69.

I assume you want to know if you are eligible for JEE exam. The minimum percentage required for JEE exam is 75% in class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. In addition to this, they should be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam. For SC, ST and PwD candidates, the required marks is 65%.
If I am not wrong, you have secured 76.67%. So, you are eligible for JEE if you satisfy all the other criterias.
