The exam conducting authority has released the UPESEAT eligibility criteria on the official website. Applicants appearing for the exam must check the UPESEAT eligibility criteria 2024 before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2024 comprises age limit, educational qualification and performance in entrance exams. Applicants who fulfil the UPESEAT 2024 eligibility criteria will only be eligible to fill the application form. The admissions to B.Tech courses in UPES are done through four modes - UPESEAT, JEE Main, SAT, and Merit Board. For more details, applicants can refer to the information below.
Age Limit: All the candidates applying for admission to the University will be required to have an age of less than or equivalent to 22 years i.e., they should be born on or after October 1, 2000 to be eligible to apply.
There are two separate admission processes, the non-examination, and Board exam merit. The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2024 for the non-examination pathway is the same as the general criteria mentioned above in addition to the score received in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).
JEE Main Merit Eligibility Criteria - Students having jee percentile more than 50 are eligible for direct admission.
Board Exam Merit Eligibility Criteria - Applicants need to get a minimum aggregate of 80% in their Class 10 and higher secondary (12th) exams, and a minimum aggregate of 80% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
NOTE: Candidates should appear for centralized counselling through merit rank for the non-exam category (JEE/Board exam merit).

Applicants appearing for the exam are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the UPESEAT 2024 application form. The application process for UPESEAT 2024 comprises the registration process, filling application form, payment of the application fee, and others. Applicants can fill out the UPESEAT 2024 application form in online mode only. The application fee of UPESEAT 2024 will be Rs 1350 for all candidates. The process to pay the UPESEAT application fee 2024 includes net banking, credit card, and debit card. Steps to fill the UPESEAT 2024 application form are given below.

Step 1 - Registration
Applicants first have to complete the UPESEAT 2024 registration from the official website. Candidates have to provide details like Name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Email ID, Mobile number, City, State, Course you are applying, and other information in the UPESEAT registration. After filling in all the details, candidates have to submit the registration form.
Step 2: Input the One Time Password (OTP)
After submitting the details in the registration form, applicants will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. Candidates have to submit the OTP in the required fields. Once OTP verification is done, applicants will receive a confirmation mail on the registered email ID along with a username and password.
Step 3: Log-in & Confirm the Details
In the next step, applicants have a login user username and password. After successful UPESEAT 2024 login, applicants have to check all the details and submit the application form.
Step 4 - Payment of Application Fee
After submitting all the details, applicants will be redirected to the payment gateway page. Applicants have to pay the UPESEAT application fee of Rs 1530/- in online mode through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.
Step 5 - Entering Academic Details
In the next step, candidates have to enter their academic qualification in the UPESEAT 2024 application form. Candidates must provide all the valid information and then submit. After submission, the UEPSEAT application form will be available for download.

The exam conducting authorities do not release the answer key of UPESEAT. In case authorities will release the UPESEAT 2024 answer key then it will be made available to candidates from this page. Even if the UPESEAT 2024 answer key is released by any of the coaching institutes, it will be available to the candidates as soon as it gets released.
The exam conducting authority will declare the UPESEAT result at the official website. Applicants will be able to check UPESEAT 2024 through application number and date of birth. Applicants who will be declared qualified in the UPESEAT 2024 result will be called for the counselling process later. The result of UPESEAT 2024 mentions candidate's name, application number, roll number, category, subject wise marks, rank secured, status of qualifying exam and others. The cutoff of UPESEAT 2024 is the minimum marks that would be required by the candidates to qualify for the UPES engineering aptitude test exam. The candidates who will meet the UPESEAT 2024 cutoff criteria will be required to proceed to the counselling process in the institute. UPESEAT cutoff will be determined on various factors such as availability of seats, the number of candidates appearing in the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and previous year's cutoff trends.

All the candidates who will qualify the entrance exam and will get more marks than the UPESEAT cutoff will be called for the counselling.
UPESEAT 2024 Scholarships
The following scholarships will be provided to eligible candidates by the authorities.
Merit-Based Scholarship - This scholarship will be provided to those candidates who had secured an aggregate of 80% marks in 10th and 12th standard and 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech in CBSE/ICSE/State Examination Board. Only 10% of seats of each B.Tech programme will be given the scholarship and will be based on merit. 50% of tuition fee will be waived off in the first semester. Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy.
Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers - The seats under this category will be within 15% reservation for Uttarakhand resident students. Under this scholarship, 25% tuition fee waiver will be provided for boys and 35% fee waiver will be provided for girls. The scholarship is renewed as per merit scholarship policy of the University. The candidates under this category should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate).

Here on your doubt I want to tell you the minimum eligibility criteria for UPSC CSE is that you must have an undergraduate degree from any recognised University and the most important thing is that UPSC doesn't ask for the stream of graduation.It welcomes every candidate,doesn't matter from where and in which stream they are and completed their graduation.
So to become an IAS officer you must have to clear UPSC CSE and for that you must have an undergraduate degree from any recognised University and for that you can do whatever you want and in whichever you feel interested.
So to start your preparation you just enter your first year of college and do to preparation according to the latest syllabus of UPSC CSE.
