KEE 2018

KEEKEE 2018 – Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed to be University) has conducted the enrolment process of KEE 2018. The candidates had to report to the University campus for the enrollment procedure. The KEE 2018 entrance exam was conducted from April 27 to 29. KEE admit card 2018 was released on April 26. The University had also released KEE mock test 2018 for candidates to practise. KEE Application form 2018 was released on December 11, 2018. Candidates must note that they had to first fill an expression of interest (EOI) form, and make an initial payment of Rs. 51,000. Upon successful application, they were offered provisional admission if they met the prescribed eligibility criteria. The final admission was based on the performance of the candidate in KEE 2018. KEE Result 2018

 

The result of KEE 2018 was declared by Karunya University in online mode on May 7, 2018. To check their results, candidates had to log in to the result portal using their application number. Along with the KEE 2018 result, the rank card was also available which displayed the rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance test. The candidate had to download the rank card as it was required to participate in the future course. Admission to B.Tech courses at Karunya University was based on the result of KEE 2018.

 

KEE Cutoff 2018

 

The cutoff of KEE 2018 will be determined by the concerned authority after taking into account factors like the number of candidates appearing in the entrance test, applications seeking admission to a particular program, and seats offered under the program. It was important that the candidate scores the KEE 2018 cutoff, as it is the minimum mark required to be eligible for admission. Candidates missing the KEE cutoff 2018 were not considered for admission.

KEE Counselling 2018

 

Karunya University conducted the counselling KEE 2018 for shortlisted candidates based on their KEE 2018 ranks on July 14, 2018. KEE 2018 counselling was a single-window counselling.

 

Procedure of KEE 2018 counselling

  • Candidates were intimated about KEE counselling 2018, including schedule, via SMSs and email

  • Shortlisted candidates had to report in person at the KEE 2018 counselling centre as per their schedule.

  • Counselling of KEE 2018 was done as per the merit of the candidate in KEE 2018, with higher ranked candidates called first

KEE 2018 Counselling Document Checklist

KEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed to be University) had to meet the KEE 2018 eligibility criteria applicable for the course they were applying to. The eligibility criteria of KEE 2018  include the requirement of qualifying exam and age limit.

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in PCM 

    or,

  • Passed 10+2 in Vocation Stream (subjects can be General Mechanist, Electrical Machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipments, Draughtman Civil, etc.) and any of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 50% in aggregate

B.Tech in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and Food processing and Engineering

  • Cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in PCM 

    or,

  • Passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam in the first attempt with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Zoology/Botany/Computer Science

Age Limit: The candidate must not be more than 21 years as on July 1, 2018

 

KEE Application Form 2018

 

The application form of KEE 2018 was available in online mode. As per the revised policy adopted by the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed to be University) in 2017-18, candidates were offered direct provisional admission after they successfully filled the KEE 2018 expression of interest (EOI) form. The candidats, however, had to make an initial payment of Rs. 51,000. The final admission of candidates was based on their performance in the KEE 2018 entrance exam, provided the candidates meet all prescribed eligibility criteria.

 

How to fill KEE 2018 application form (EOI Form)

 

To be considered for provisional admission, candidates will had to first fill the expression of interest (EOI) form online.

 

Step 1: To fill the EOI form online, candidates had to get registered first by entering the following details:

  • Name

  • Email ID and mobile no. (must be valid)

  • Level of study (UG in this case)

  • Programme the candidate wants to pursue at the university.

  • Marks obtained in 10th SSLC

Upon successful submission of EOI form, SMS/email indicating Application No. and password was sent to the candidate. 

 

Step 2: Using the application no. and password, the candidate had to log in and submit the application form and also make the initial payment. During this step, candidates had to upload their SSLC mark sheet and other relevant documents in the prescribed format.

 

KEE 2018 Application Fee: Along with the initial payment, the candidate also had to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000 at the time of filling the EOI application form.

 

Mode of Payment: The initial payment and application fee could be paid either online (through credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or offline. Offline payments could be made through DD or by cash.

 

Step 3: Upon successful submission of the EOI form, after paying the initial fee, the candidate were able to download the provisional admission offer using the confirmation SMS and email sent to his/her mail.

 

How to prepare for KEE 2018

 

Candidates preparing for KEE 2018 had to be familiar with details like KEE 2018 exam pattern, syllabus and solve lots of sample papers. This way the candidate had focus in the goal post and also realize what the type of effort required to crack the exam. Other facets of exam preparation may include a study plan, like taking notes and timely revision!

 

KEE Syllabus 2018

 

The syllabus of KEE 2018 carries the topics and units candidates need to study for each subject for the entrance examination. The KEE 2018 syllabus includes all the key topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates after going through the KEE 2018 syllabus, could segregate the topics into categories as per their difficulty level. It would make the preparation for KEE 2018 more streamlined and effective. Also, candidates had to study only those topics covered in the KEE syllabus 2018.

KEE Exam Pattern 2018

 

The exam pattern of KEE 2018 was determined by Karunya University, the exam conducting body. KEE exam pattern 2018l provided the candidate insights into various important aspects of the entrance test like subjects covered, test duration, marking scheme, and total marks. By being familiar with the KEE 2018 exam pattern, candidates were able to prepare for the test accordingly, for example devoting more time to subjects that carry more weightage.

  • KEE 2018 question paper had four sections – Mathematics (40 marks), Physics (25), Chemistry (25) and General Aptitude (30).

  • The duration of the test was two and a half hours.

  • The total marks for the test were 100.

  • For every correct answer, one mark was awarded, while ¼ or 0.25 marks was deducted for an incorrect attempt.

KEE Sample Papers 2018

 

The sample papers of KEE 2018 are released by Karunya University so that candidates can get an idea about the types of questions asked in the entrance examination. The sample papers will have questions from all the sections that are asked in KEE 2018. Candidates who were planning to appear for KEE 2018 by solving the sample papers of KEE 2018 were able to formulate strategies for the exam like they could set priority for solving a particular section as per their ability. KEE Admit Card 2018

 

The admit card of KEE 2018 has been released on April 26, 2018 in online mode. The KEE 2018 admit card was available for only those candidates who have correctly filled the application form for the test and also paid the applicable fee. To download the KEE admit card 2018, candidates have to enter their KEE 2018 registration number and passcode/password. Before downloading the KEE 2018 admit card, the candidates must ensure that the details mentioned in it are correct. Considering the KEE admit card is an important document to take the entrance test, candidates had to bring it to the exam hall. Also, apart from taking the KEE 2018 entrance test, the admit card of KEE 2018 is needed to complete other admission formalities, so the candidate must keep it safe.

KEE Exam Centres 2018

 

KEE 2018 was conducted in 79 test centres across India. Candidates could pick from the list of exam centres of KEE 2018 as per their convenience, at the time of filling the application form.
